Dear friends.
I was navigating through various e-shops and in some of them, I found some interesting e-liquids. But did not order anything because there was no info about their PG/VG ratio (to be honest it is difficult for me to vape an e-liquid with more than 20% PG, coughing like an old and ready to die donkey)...
Everytime I had to e-mail them and had to wait until they will reply so to have some additional info, which was supposed to be on their description... It's really tiring, so I stopped doing this, and I just end my navigation and leave their e-shop...
I think that's having a PG/VG ratio is a must on the label of any e-liquid but shouldn't also be on their description so to be more informed of what we are about to buy?

I agree qsplan, there's no reason not to supply that ratio on the website.

+ 1 - it should be a 'must' to have the pg/vg ratio on the label guess you best start making your own

I agree 100% If I don't see anything to tell me otherwise I just assume it's 70/30 80/20 pg and move on. I mix my own now but always used health e vape where you get to pick your own mix. It always makes me think a site is a bit amateur if it doesn't have the ratio on.

To be honest most commercial e-liquid will be heavy on PG up to 80% PG. Websites dont state this ratio because they dont know what difference it makes (or they want you to think it's more VG)
Premium e-liquid are USUALLY around 50/50.
It's really only artisan juice that will be VG heavy. These are the type of juice where the people selling understand and care about the liquid they supply.
I do think that a website should state the ratio. If they dont list it I wont buy it. Simples

Agree with most of the above but way I look at it if the information isn't made clear what else are they not telling so I avoid them and only purchasd from venders that either make information clear or allow you to choose the ratio yourself. But now I make my own it's not an issue anymore I know some people don't get on with DIY but it really is the best way to ensure you get what you want.

The ratio should always be made clear on the bottle, but I don't think it is correct to equate ratio with quality I have only use 100% PG for almost 2 years, it's not for everyone, but I have been trying 80% VG and find the flavour very muted with almost no throat hit, both are DIY.

Jim Yep, Vaping max VG vs Max PG is watery and I think it has got popular mainly because of cloud chasers not being able to take the throat hit. PG has it's drawbacks: it tends to dry you out and some people are intolerant of it, but some (fewer) people are VG intolerant. And VG adds sweetness which is another reason I have avoided it. E: and VG has a higher boiling point than PG.

VapingBadAt the moment I'm vaping 70% VG, could this be a cause of my windows permanently misting up? You also say VG tastes sweet, I wonder if it smells sweet as well. Jim

I don't believe that ratio is equated to quality but it does seem that most of the 'cheaper' liquids are PG heavy. No idea why this is, price? , flavour use?, less steeping? The ratio doesn't make a juice worse or better, but this is info that should be clearly stated up front on the web site and on the bottle. you shouldn't have to go chasing the supplier to give you the info. Anyway it doesn't really matter to me now I am almost totally DIY, I only buy pre mixed to try new stuff and then only if they state the ratio up front.

Jim I don't know about the fogging, but VG vapour hangs round for quite a bit longer. I vape 10 ml a day working form home and never have to wait for the vapour to clear until testing max VG I am waving my arms about to see the screens. The extra sweetness is hard for me to judge as the flavour I vape can be a bit on the opposite side.

qsplan I mostly mix my own liquids now and rarely vape off the shelf. I do recall having to email vendors enquiring about pg/vg ratios though which for me was unsatisfactory. I know that ecigarettedepotpaul aswell as clearly displaying the pg/vg ratio on his liquids also has his bricks and mortar address on the label, along with a batch number so each liquid can be traced back to production point and various warnings. They also do a cloud chasing range which is made at an 80% vg ratio which might suit you. I can highly recommend the krakatoa and Swedish fish and for £6.49 for a 30ml bottle it's good value. If you search through my threads you can see my reviews on these. Paul is tagged above and I've linked the cloud chasing range below so if you have any questions You can message him on here or through his website. www.ecigarettedepot.co.uk/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=195Jay.

Personally 95% of my liquids are DIY, love having them the way I want them... But, because of the hungry eye I have, whenever I see something "weired" (by name, by design on the label, by so many little things) most of the times I want to have it... Especially when it comes from some family running companies, etc...
And most of the times, they do not have it as a concentrate... so it's a temptation to buy the e-liquid itself... but... no further information rather than a flashing name, a lovely image/photograph, some critics that never have an essential information...
And I really hate it when I have to google a brand name in order to find all those information that it would be nice to see it on their homepage or e-shop... and most of the times it was a waiste of time, navigating through pages and pages and suddenly realize that it's made of mainly PG, so it's not good for me...
It is not any kind of state's top secret to have a note about that ratio and in my eyes seems a kind of lack of respect making someone to become a fortune teller of what this e-liquid might be...
I just hope that things will get better...
Or maybe I'm just a Greek weirdo guy... all I want is pleasure and not a horrible cough...
