Ok, Thanks, think I've got it, so no special atty's etc required, I'll order some NI200 nickel wire.

Atties with through hole connectors are more troublesome and if you have one wrap the wire under the screw head if you can.

Presumably you can use this mod in VV/VW mode if you choose and forget the temp control?

Yes, you don't need to do a thing if you aren't using nickel it will just act like a 40 W DNA30.

I dont really understand that, surely it`s for the seller to fill in the customs declaration . I could understand if there were batteries in it

I have messages Julia and asked for a despatch date as she told me 2 days, 6 days ago.

I have just had a message to say that they cannot send at a lower value so I have cancelled and asked for a refund. I would not mind paying the VAT but I hate paying an inflated fee to DHL to collect the VAT

Any other options?, I got a UPS package yesterday with a mod in it (not from them though). Didn`t get any charges.

Is it DHL or customs and excise that put the VAT charge on, ie, can it slip through or do DHL allways charge VAT and handling fees>
