Dumb question time, but from reading the above this is like a "normal" festival how I know it...hopefully set tent up, spend the whole weekend pissed, go home to stinking hangover.

I like the sound of this but from past experience i must remember to set up the tent as a priority, drunken and in the dark whilst trying to keep down half a litre of something that didn't agree with me is a bad look.

A five star hotel several miles away, a limo driver and what you all forgot battery charger.

Umbrella if you can be bothered carrying one, sunglasses if you're optimistic and a waterproof bag (rucksack type of thing). Also take a handy bottle of water, a pen and plenty of money! I'd sharpen the elbows for getting to front of stalls too

That was me last year & it'll be the same this year if I go.........sod all that camping malarky..........slap up meal at the hotel in the evening, washed down with a shed full of guinness...& then a big comfy bed with rakes of snoring ( 'cos @spikeyfridge won't be there .... )..............Proper behaviour........

My plan of action is (and always will be) if the weather is disgusting and my tent in danger of floating to river.... i'll sleep in my car!

If its downright aggressive storm conditions i'll beg one of you hotelling bunch to lend me your floor space! if your in A premier inn/travelodge they never do a head count, I've had 18 sleeping in a family room before now, not bad on a £19 offer! £1.12p a head?

I forgot to blow my lilo up had to do it @ 5:30 AM after clearing up the empties, good job I had been off the stinkies for 2 years or I would have had to sleep on the ground.
