Will I notice much difference between the vivid/halo kit and a istick type thing? What will be the difference? Thanks again all for warm welcome! x hi and yes its a huge difference both to the taste and amount of nicotine it will get in to your system to the point you can od(hot sweats and feeling sick) the tanks may not seem cheap at 1st but once you have tried one you will want more but they can be ordered from china and arrive in about 4 weeks ill get shot for saying this but a batt is just a batt as long as it has enough power to run the tank your using then its hard to get better results by getting just a better batt and not changing the tank the istick has 20 watts which will happily run most tanks out there so it should last you a good time before you feel the need/want to upgrade it vapeing is dangerous because it becomes a hobby and empty's yer bank account you have been warned

Hello and welcome katequits shineyitis is very contagious and initially you may not see any savings however once you start to get a set up that works well for you then the equipment buying will drop off a bit and it'll primarily be juice you buy and the savings will start to be seen. It all depends on how much you used to spend on the stinkies too, I keep an excel spread sheet which I update every time I spend anything on the vape side of things measured against how much I would have spent weekly on the stinkies. I just updated it this morning and over the 8 months since I started vaping I have spent £459.11 on equipment and £319.57 on juice and I have SAVED £1303.30 once you are more experienced with vaping and know what you like etc. then you can start to look at buying from fasttech etc. in china and save even more then its on to rewicking or rebuilding your own coils and that reduces the cost down. But even if vaping costs you the same as you were spending on smoking I wouldn't worry as its so much nicer and healthier for you than the alternatives.

Congratulations Katie keep up the good work. I am a newbie to 3month with out a cig. It is all a little confusing to begin with but listen to all the wonderful folks on this forum and they will guide you. I settled and very happy vaping using a istick (I now have a few) Tanks Kanger Emow or Mow and I also have the Eleaf GS Air Atomiser.
Liquids is very much personal taste this is where I spent most of my money at the begining as I brought a lot of liquids that I disliked have now settled on 3 that I like and have started mixing my own. Which saves a lot of money.
The first few weeks are the hardest understanding all the vaping stuff that is out there and getting off those morning cigs. I have been a 20+ smoker for over 30 years and I never thought I could do this.
Have fun vaping

Hi and katequitsAs others have said, the istick is an excellent choice coupled with an aspire nautilus mini should give you a better "satisfied" feeling with the nic addictions. The coughing will go in a short period of time and should make breathing a lot easier too. It is very surprising how much better vaping makes you feel. Good luck and there are loads of people on here who will help with everything you're not sure of. Happy vaping

Hi all, new shiny things on order!!!
And, thanks to the boost from the forum, this morning I had my usual favourite (amaretto) which I bought in 6mg (to use all day and change with higher nic when I need it) and added 1/3 tobacco flavourings at 18mg (the strongest I want to go) No morning smoke and I didn't miss it!!
You can't see me but I'm happy dancing! It's my day off work, it's raining and I don't have to step outside to smoke at all!! Result!

Brilliant news katequits!! Well done on forgoing that first cig of the day, now you've done it once you'll wonder what all the fuss was about, and once that iStick arrives, there will be no going back, you'll love it and the extra vapour and satisfaction it delivers! Let us know your first impressions, and shout if you need help getting it to work the way you want. We've nearly all got them, and can help you to set it up so it works well. It should arrive with a factory charge, so you can simply un-package it and start vaping - happy days!
