I didn't play around with PG/VG levels as I use 100% VG other than whatever the flavouring concentrate comes in. Can't have PG too much coz of my tolerance level to it. I come out in nappy rash all over

Noticing (almost a day in) a huge difference now with playing around with VG/PG levels. Have otrivine for nose. Just need energy to come back and we're sorted

Well worth getting into mixing your own and going for the higher VG levels if you have this bug . Just need a cheaper (than boots) VG supplier now LOL

Wheezing like mad this am despite changing PG/VG ratios. Worse when I go outside in the cold. VG seems to help the cough and the wheeze though. Am taking otrivine for nose. Any ideas?

I changed to this ratio and now find that the coughing has reduced significantly, however, because I have chronic lung problem( caused by smoking 60 years), that the air in my home is foggy due to the enormous amount of clouds you get from this ratio, I was getting short of breath. Had a word with the pulmonary nurse who suggested using a fan to clear the air.

Brought down my desk top fan and it works, I now breathe fresh air, no blocked up nasal passages or shortage of breath.

Please note, this is not something that will affect all of you who vape mostly VG, just me with my COPD.

I had it over Christmas, ended up admitted to hospital in Worcester (taken in via a and e which included a couple of hours in resus...the first hour under constant supervision by the doctor....scary!) while I was visiting the in-laws. Would have been in for longer, but discharged myself as the hospital was awful! (Seriously bad experience!) Plus I've had it happen so often I knew I was ok (and I was!) Since I stopped smoking I have only been in hospital twice with my asthma, but they have both been ten times worse than they used to be when I'd be admitted 2-3 Times per year!

Got my chest checked out (walking to the car) by a medic at church yesterday (have eaten waaaayyyy too much past two days LOL) and she was like - nope your nose is chocca but no chest infection

I can deal with that....I'm prone to sinusitis since breaking nose/too much nic nasal spray

But yeah good vape day yesterday. Out for 6 hours armed only with one inhalator cartridge - my normal strong mints - and one tank (3ml). Vaped 1.5ml and concentration fine with the inhalator.....

People were amazed how I could go outside to vape at my friend's house for 3 mins in the snow. - try smoking 3 stinkies in that time

Yeah once I get this crazy sleep pattern sorted I think I'll be fine

Everyone else around here is coughing and spluttering. So far I have escaped. Fingers crossed that being off the fags makes a difference!

Everyone at work is coughing now, and I'm totally clear.

Quite often you start with a viral infection and then the secondary opportunistic bacteria get in on the act. Maybe the PG has saved you from the secondaries.
