So if I want the resistance down to .5 what guage would I get and cheers for the help and comments everyone I was looking at the Lemo and Kayfun and Taifun g2. The attys I use at the moment are Aspire Nautilus and Aspire Atlantis The gauge will depend on how many wraps you want or need in your coil/s. What mod are you using the Nautilus & Atlantis on? What does the wrap mean and I use a istick and handa modz 30 but gonna get a vaporshark

0.3 or 0.25 kanthal - when I read those terms the first time here on the forum - I wondered if folks are speaking English here - but I got used to it - I generally use 0.25 kanthal with 7 wraps - that gives me a nice coil arroun1.7 or 1.8 ohm

danliddle look at step 3 on tom's guide. You are wraping your wire around a drill bit/screw drivier to make your coil, each full circle is a wrap and you are using the coil calculator to tell you how many wraps you need to get your desired ohm like Clivia has above. I would recommend you use A1 kanthal wire, see link to different sizes, In the uk we use mm for the wire sizes US use AWG. So we say .3 meaning 0.3mm size wire.

Yes. Have look at this video for the full process linkI forgot about that video. Seems an age ago now. Nobody has suggested going down the kanger subtank or joyetech delta 2 route. You get different heads. Some pre made like normal heads and then one head is rebuildable. You then get a rebuildable bit to play about with but also a normal head to put in there if you dont get the swing of things straight away. Just my little thoughts.

Subtank for the flexibility +1 I'd wait just a little longer for the 22mm. No swapping out the top or losing capacity. Have a go at building it, no success... put a coil in. Takes all the stress away and you can pop out the base and switch whenever it takes your fancy.

Personally i would wait for the joyetech delta 2 over the subtank soulvapesreviews.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/joyetch-delta-2-taking-top-spot-of-sub.html seems to be a much better vape all round. Shipping from china in 7 to 10 days so will be with uk vendors very soon. I know some have it on pre order all ready.

Most people run a kayfun at arround 1ohm or higher, the wicking speed and airflow is a Little tight for lower resistances.

If you want to try low ohm builds then perhaps a dripper is the simplest as youre Not having to worry about wicking issues.
