whats the best to use for kayfun ? Best ohms for a kayfun is around rhe 1ohm to 1.2 ohms imo but anything up to 2 ohms will work fine in a kayfun.

The gauge will depend on how many wraps you want or need in your coil/s. What mod are you using the Nautilus & Atlantis on? What does the wrap mean and I use a istick and handa modz 30 but gonna get a vaporshark Wraps is the number of times you complete a full turn of wire around a drill bit / knitting needle / screwdriver... to make a coil. I'd highly suggest getting a Coil Master or Kuro Concepts coil making tool as it'll be much easier to make your own coils with them. There's cheaper versions available from Fasttech here, or here for a Kuro Concepts clone available in the UK. And just so you know, you won't be able to use 0.5 ohm coils in any tank on a 20w iStick, as the lowest it supports is 1.0 ohm ( ohm is the resistance of the coil ) The Hana Modz & Vapourshark will be fine with 0.5 ohm coils though. I would agree with Roscopecotrain though. Forget the Kayfun & just grab a Subtank Mini or a Joyetech Delta II when they come out, which is meant to be soon. That way you can either use the premade coils, or the rebuildable head ( think you need to buy it separately with the Delta II ) if you want to make your own coils.

ok cheers does the tool just wrap the coil like you would doing it by hand with a screw driver etc if you no what I mean ? It does, except it also makes the wraps nice & tight, meaning you don't need to heat & compress the coil together afterwards with tweezers to get each wrap sitting next to one another for a neat looking microcoil. And as an added bonus, it will also lower your blood pressure unless you happen to have the eyesight of a

A dripper might be worth it - something like the Plume Veil clone from Fasttech would be good to have a play with. You can put either a single or dual coils in it, and the flavour is immense. I think this is the one I bought Plume VeilJust bear in mind that if you are using an unregulated mod (called a 'mechanical mod') you must use a battery which is up to the task. PLEASE ask here before you buy anything as we can help guide you to a vendor and battery which will not cause injury or death (OK, might be a bit OTT, but needs to me emphasised!).

wow stop take a breath the peps recommending a dripper ie one without a tank are talking seance its a heck of a lot easier to learn how to coil on a dripper then move on to one with a tank so you only have to learn how to wick
you will all ways have use for a dripper for testing juices or chasing clouds lol

So if I want the resistance down to .5 what guage would I get and cheers for the help and comments everyone I was looking at the Lemo and Kayfun and Taifun g2. The attys I use at the moment are Aspire Nautilus and Aspire Atlantis If you want 0.5 Ohms with a single coil I think you need 0.4mm Kanthal, But if I were you, I'd get some 0.32mm and some 0.25mm while your buying, You'll need it sooner or later. The atty you want depends in part on how high in Watts you want to go. Higher Watts need more juice, thicker wick and so an atty with larger wick channels and more air flow

Good advice from monty- get yourself various different gauges of wire and have a play. Remember that a larger wire diameter will need more wraps than a small one, and it's all dependent on the battery you plan to put your atomiser on. I use Russians (Kayfun Lites) at around 1.2ohm, but coil my drippers at .8ohm (2 x 1.6ohm coils). I'm sitting here now with my Plume Veil at 0.7ohm with dual coils, on a Samsung 30A 18650 battery, with some Ruthless 'Menage a Trois' juice, and it's awesome!
