Hello I am Janette I tried years ago to stop smoking with sky -cigs did not work. Now I am in the right mind to have another go. I have been on this site as a guest for days and I am totally confused I have looked at V2 pro series 3 because it looks easy. I need something simple as do not have time as I am a carer. Hi glenburnjany and I would recommend something like the Evod 2 Starter kit - it comes with 2 batteries so you can use one whilst the other is charging (never unattended) The only additional thing you would need to buy is juice. How many ciggies do you smoke a day and what sort of flavours do you think you'd like? The only maintenance you would need to do with the kit linked is the occasional clean of the tanks and replacing the coils every week or two. That's as easy as unscrewing one and screwing in another

No worries, our forum mantra is "the only silly question is the one you don't ask" The link I gave above is probably the best place to get the kit from. You can also get replacement coils from there too... link, you can buy them singly or a bit cheaper for 5 or more. I would recommend going for the 1.8 ohm ones. OK, now for juice, for 10-15 ciggies a day, I'd go for an 18mg juice. Do you have any thoughts on what type of flavour you want? Did you just stick with the tobacco flavour skicigs, or try the vanilla, cherry, cinnamon or menthol? (I started and failed with skycigs too)

Hello and a hearty and warm AAEC glenburnjany to the forum that likes to say YES. You've certainly come to the right place if you have questions. You'll get plenty of answers, help and support. And remember the forum mantra. " the daftest question is the one you didn't ask". I'm with lairey on this and these can be found cheaply online and usually at your nearest B & M (bricks and mortar vaping specialists shop).

glenburnjany to the forum. What part of the country do you live ? We might be able to point you in the direction of a shop where you can see what's on offer.

Thanks to you all for the prompt replys I come from Paisley outside Glasgow What is the difference in the size of coils? It's not the size of the coils, it's the resistance. It's all to do with electrickery, much of which goes over my head, but for a battery like the one that comes with the Evod kit, the 1.8ohm is a good all rounder

I think with juice I would start with tobacco and buy a few different flavours.
till I find one .I feel my taste is different to a few years .
Open to any ideas ,and will try anything

hi and welcome glenburnjany +1 for lairey 's recommandation - with the liquid : I would suggest that you start around 18mg - get yourself some maybe from the same webpage as the starter kit

Hi glenburnjany, and a warm welcome to you too! lairey seems to have you under her wing so I'll just confirm that the kit she is recommending would be a great starter. You've landed in the best vaping forum around, everyone here has been where you are now, and will be only too happy to help you get started. No matter how trivial your problem, or for that matter whatever time of day or night, there are always people around to help you. Do keep us posted once you have chosen your kit and juice, and let us know how you are getting on. Don't panic if you find the terminology a bit confusing at first, it will soon make sense once you are holding your vapouriser in your hand! You might like to have a read through this thread for beginners, it will help you to understand a bit more - allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/2349?74660=undefined
