You should also stop and think before posting phrases like "going boom". None have "exploded". Interesting that the most hysterical are people who don't have one. I had a Sony battery vent in a mech. A bottle of fizz definitely exploded in my kitchen New year's eve. I'm still finding bits of glass. Definitely get the knowledge of problems out there, but damp down the hysteria please. The most dangerous stuff in vaping is the most common. Cheap ego batteries and chargers.

How many have you ACTUALLY seen fry @zuza ? and can I ask have you actually got one? YOU are creating the hysteria, I'm not denying that people have had problems, and I'm not telling people to go out & buy one but I AM getting a little fed up with your negative outbursts, what do you ACTUALLY know?
The problems with MOST sensational stories in the press normally come down to the same thing, IDIOTIC PEOPLE

Chill folks, no need for insults.
You don't need to own a device to see pictures of failed units. I understand those who have bought them hope they are fine but the fact remains there have been faulty devices and the manufacturer has not addressed the concerns for most.

NONE have exploded and as yet we haven't had a definitive answer to the problem, yes there is a problem, we know that, but what about all the EGOs that DID explode, most of that came back to IDIOTIC users. Now HAVE YOU GOT A CLOUPOR @zuza ?

Right... at last you've answered (and made your feelings known) now shut up and leave the subject to people who either OWN one or know what they're talking about

Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you agree with it or not. I'm all for speaking my mind as most know but your taking the proverbial here ???

To be honest Q and @zuza, I think you both need to chill out a bit. Both of you are acting out of character. Please guys, can we calm down a bit, there has been too much upset here in recent months and no one wants to see anything escalating.

The truly safe way is to give up all electrical goods. There's no doubt that a few units have melted, not gone boom or exploded. But does anyone here actually know someone this has happened to? We are mostly grown ups - so I believe I can be trusted with a unit that may be dodgy. Like all my electrical stuff. You don't need to be an expert.
