If this thread and this one were where they SHOULD be, Members only, I wouldn't mind WHAT people said. But it is in a public area of the forum, and words like 'blowing up' and 'exploding' will do the vaping cause no good at all, we should be careful with ALL our vaping gear, and not be part of the sensationalistic area like @zuza has started, I wont apologise for what I've said, I stand by ALL of it. And this was me at a stag do three years ago the false tach had fallen off by then How did you train that cat to stay still for so long?

How many have you ACTUALLY seen fry @zuza ? and can I ask have you actually got one? YOU are creating the hysteria, I'm not denying that people have had problems, and I'm not telling people to go out & buy one but I AM getting a little fed up with your negative outbursts, what do you ACTUALLY know? The problems with MOST sensational stories in the press normally come down to the same thing, IDIOTIC PEOPLE I think Q you've succeeded in an across the board swipe with your last statement. I wouldn't imagine that there are many "IDIOTIC PEOPLE" on this forum. Maybe the most sensational stories in the press are due to people being ill informed as to how to use or charge the device rather than being idiotic. Just maybe the idiotic thing about this device is the fact that the trusting members of this forum and others, put a battery in them, but then again it does need a battery to work. And before you ask, no thankfully, I don't own one, I cancelled my order when the issue first surfaced. The first picture posted on this issue was one melted that had what looked like a samsung hi drain battery, don't see anything idiotic there, but who knows. I wouldn't think there are many cloupor mini owners using them with any degree of confidence. Issues appear to have surfaced with what looks like fairly experienced vapers so wouldn't imagine they would be undertaking any idiotic tendencies with the device, but again, who knows. Unfortunately I did do something idiotic last week, I bought an MVP 3. Its big, industrial looking, heavy and ain't very pocket friendly but, I don't imagine that I'm gonna be viewing the inside of it through a melted hole in the back cover any time soon.

Well I'll disagree with you as well then striker42 I wasn't calling trusted members of this forum idiotic, merely pointing out that when majority of these "ecigs kill" stories are disected it is normally traced back to the users bad practices, in the case of the Cloupor this hasn't been proven yet (and judging by the stories I've read it DOES seem as though the company are at fault on at least a couple of the failures) but to keep going on & on about it.... how many other pieces of kit have had majour failures? I can think of a few, but this campaign by @zuza against an item that he neither owns nor has any first hand proof of failure reminds me of a similar effort by someone else to get a certain respected vendor on here discredited, except in that case the person involved had actually had dealings with the company, it strikes me that @zuzu seems to be picking a fight just for the sake of it, in this case with the wrong person.

It seems to me your arguing against the indisputable and because you've bought one you don't want to admit it was a poor purchase in hindsight. Dont get me wrong, I ordered one myself from FT and it was only luck I didn't get one as I had the fortitude to read threads on here and they weren't in stock, so I cancelled it. i don't see Zuza having a go at a respected vendor so don't see any similarity at all in your analogy. In my experience Cloupor are a manufacturer with a poor track record. I also interpreted your idiotic reference at being aimed at certain forum members, maybe read your words again and see if you can see how others have interpreted it that way. Telling a member to shut up is difficult to interpret more than one way to be fair though !

I'm sorry if you took it to mean forum members, it wasn't meant that way, but the shut up reference certainly was, I dont like people going on and on about something they have no experience of, or relevance to.
Yes I have a Cloupor, and yes I am worried about the bad press it's received, but I'm still using it (carefully) and I can honestly say that it handles lovely, vapes well and (so far) seems a sturdy bit of kit. If mine should suffer the fate that others (none on THIS forum) have then I will change my mind & I will let everyone know, but I can only comment on what I have in my hand, not on what someone else says happened to someones elses friends piece of kit.

So if it did happen to you "i hope it never does buddy and you have a safe unit" we have to listen as it happened to you but all other photos and folks over the web it is a conspiracy against cloupor its there own fault i maybe read this wrong but that how it sounds sorry stay safe with it bud

The truly safe way is to give up all electrical goods. There's no doubt that a few units have melted, not gone boom or exploded. But does anyone here actually know someone this has happened to? We are mostly grown ups - so I believe I can be trusted with a unit that may be dodgy. Like all my electrical stuff. You don't need to be an expert. Yes, a work colleague, his lasted approx 4hrs, bought from Gearbest. I don't own one or have any interest in anything Cloupor produce so it's not my place to pass comment other than i hope all those that bought one don't have the same issue.
