I'm considering replacing the Protank 2 with either an Aspire Nautilus or Kanger Aerotank. Which do you recommend? Any others?

Buy both . . . it's the only way to be certain you've made the right decision doctorjellybean.

Save your money and just get the kanger airflow controller. It'll turn you pt2 into a hybrid aerotank and it'll save you splurging out on new coils. Once you're comfortable it's well worth recoiling them and rewick ing with cotton. There's a great guide on here and it'll save you money as well as getting a better vape.

It's just that I seem to suffer from a lot of gurgling issues lately, with juice in the airflow controller. Now it could be the coils, but it seems that dual coils are the way forward.

Yeah they do tend to gurgle now and again but the duals are not much different. If it starts gurgling make sure the chimneys down tight on the grommet. Failing that there's nothing stopping you laying a small piece of cotton over the top of the existing coil as a flavour wick if you can see any spaces in the coil. I sometimes turn mine upside down so the liquid is off the coil and have a few vapes so the wick dries slightly then it's normally fine until the refill.whatever works for ya Edit: Oi decoy cheekypants haha

Stock coils wise the Kanger duel coils gurgle just as much as the single ones. If you don't want to dabble with the dark arts have you tried a Nature Vape or Virtual Vape head in the Pro Tank 2? They are basically micro coils with cotton but someone has done all the hard work for you so all you need to do is change the cotton occasionally which if you can thread a needle you can change a cotton wick. The performance of these over stock heads is barely comparable - miles better. Of the two tanks you are looking at my preference would be the Nautilus - well actually my preference would be a Silo tank which is basically a Nautilus with better airflow and made somewhat more pretty. The BVC heads are the best stock coils going. I have had a large range of gear (almost every clearo going it seems sometime and a fair selection of rebuildables), but I still tend to mainly use Nautilus minis in the day and Silo tanks in the evening (Silo is a tad large for my out and about setup). If you can brave rebuilding a Nautilus head yourself with a single horizontal micro coil (warning requires some drilling required- or you could buy one from VapeandQuit but somewhat pricey at £9) you really do get an excellent and low fuss vape. Mind you even using the BVC heads Aspire make for it its still a great vape - but they only last about a week (for me anyway YMMV) That said it will still gurgle sometimes - these things do happen....

I have never had any issues with the kanger dual coil heads gurgling. CC uses mini protank 3's all the time but we use the older style dual coil heads not the new ones.

Where can one get the Nature Vape or Virtual Vape head from? Oh, and the cotton. It sounds easy enough Does it fit a Silo tank?

It looks easy enough The Silo and Nautilus are not listed as compatable tanks, but I guess they are. If you have some old coils knocking about send me s few and I'll recoil and wick them for you. Thanks. I do have quite a few, but I prob will have to do it myself at some point. I might as well start now
