I could never see the pics in the Gallery because I use Opera and I forgot about it. Well, today I tried again and got a lovely surprise from LeftField, my goodness he's surely a pro

haha yes, I live very very close to the osprey centre and my primary school's "mascot"/emblem was the osprey

The river spey is literally 1 minute walk away for me but the ospreys main site is about 15 miles from me

I'm just starting to take driving lessons which I hope (if I pass D:) will give me the freedom to do these things and really want to get shots of places and things I've just not been able to because they're not within walking distance.

Woo what kind of lens do you use I don't think my standard nikon d50 18-55mm lens is capable of shots like that without me being veeeery close.

I laughed on a review of a telescopic lens where one guy said it's better to sneak up on wildlife and shoot than to use a telescopic lens. I thought, wow, better learn how to be a ninja.

I'd be too tempted to get that close then jump out and yell surprise really loud before I took a picture If you managed to get that close you earned the right to surprise them in my mean books

Hope you pass your driving test, Lefty! My SO took about 3 years but he didn't start driving until he was 50. I rue the day he passed cos I get it in the neck (over the phone) about all the terrible drivers he "bumps into" in his travels. Rant, rant, rant!!!

Dave, the 9 replies are the number of added pics to the members opening gallery "post"

The gallery (albums) is difficult to explain as it isn't a standard proboard feature but is an approved coding hack. There is further code I could add so that folks could leave a comment about the pics withn a members album. However, the extra code can be atad glitchy & doesn't work with all browsers.
