Only watched the last 15mins of Cambridge Utd v Manchester Utd (got bored with Benidorm)... but couldn't tell the difference. Well done Cambridge. Which brings me to the point... 'what a rip off the fans are getting'... there are only a handful of players in the world that can be classed as 'great' and worth watching... the rest are just 'journeymen', collecting mega money for going through the motions and doing nothing of note. I realise this will not sit well with many fans, but how can anyone justify the stupid money these guys (and managers) get for being in the Premier ??? league. They'll get none of my 'hard earned'.

Well said. I sat through the full game and Man United are shocking for the amount of money they have spent

Drawing at Cambridge, the shame. Mrs Edge (a bitter horrible City fan) hasn't stopped giggling, you can go off people very quick.

The commentators kept blaming it on the weather. Wind, rain and a wee bit cold. They should try working on a building site for 8 hours in these conditions instead of prancing about a football pitch for an hour and a half

Wrong shaped ball! Used to play rugby union to a fairly high level as an amateur! That includes touring overseas

I've never been a football fan really and when the money started going silly it put me off even more. I'm currently on a site , putting in the soil stacks , while the main body of the building hasn't even been finished yet. There are no roof or windows , so when it rains outside , it's still raining inside for several hours later. In the weather we've had this week , it's actually warmer outside than it is inside.Add to that , bad Health and safety , and if you say something that maybe slightly out of place ( In their eyes ) , you won't be coming back the next day , and they say building sites have changed for the better.Funny , I haven't seen it ? Perhaps footballers could be under the same kind of pressure just to pay the bills , let alone , what colour their next Ferrari should be. Andy
