Hi all hope I'm ok to post in this section now. I am hoping to call upon the tank experts!
So...after what was too long I received my liquid which I love and will never run out again!! My current set up is a ego/650 battery and I have been trying the Bud tanks. I know there are a lot of vapours who are not impressed with these but they have been working ok for me and cartos just don't seem to be my thing and after 2 weeks, one finally gave up and started leaking on the battery end.
The dilema is this, after vaping since 7pm with my fav juice, it appears that my tank is nearly empty which got me thinking about the possibility of a bigger tank. I must say I am not a fan of the carto in tank types but came across a riva t atomizer tank at Vapeescape. They are more pricier than the buds so just wondering if anyone has any experience of these or anything similar? Or if it aint broke don't fix it?

If you're enjoying the bud I don't know how much of a difference the riva T would be - it doesn't hold that much more. 1.5 ml in a bud to 1.8 ml in the riva T. I've never tried a riva T so I don't know how the flavour, vapour and throat hit compare with a bud. I tend to use 5ml tanked CE2's, but you have to like faff to do them. There are giantomizers as well which have had mixed reviews about the place but I've nor tried them (I have a friend who enjoys them though). Mega dual coil cartomisers hold 4ml but they are low resistance which might be more than you're looking for. Look around the websites at the different carto tanks as well as new ones crop up fairly regularly with different colours and shapes. One that isn't too large is this one which holds 3ml total rather than the bigger tanks at 6ml which would make an ego look very top heavy. Most of the tanks seem to be for dual coil cartos these days which are low resistance so you may have to try them to see if you like them.

Hi mrsm, I hav'nt had the riva tank but I have had the tornado one. The original ego t tank (or type A as it's known) doesn't last me more than a fortnight. The larger type "B" tank atomiser however lasts a long time. The one I have at the moment has lasted 4 months and I use it everyday, not all day mind and it's still going. I've also had the new Ego-C. That's not lasted long either but the small interchangeable atomisers are fairly cheap. I believe the imist ones that safercigs sell are pretty good but hav'nt tried one yet and can be re-wicked.

hhhmmmm ok lets see... i personally dont like buds because i find they strip out the flavour and the same is true for the ego/riva tank systems ...the Imist which is similar is supposed to be better and more flavoursome but i haven't had first hand experience of this ....HOWEVER i do like complex flavoured juice and if i remember correctly MrsM you like menthol type juices so you may find the flavour stripping isnt so much of an issue for you

i just thought on our next group order from Health Cabin it may be worth giving one of these a go... Perpy gave them a thumbs up when she tried them I had the original Tornado/Ego Tank atomisers when they came out MrsM . . . and although I quite liked the convenience & ease of use . . . they didn't half strip the flavour out of any juice. The Giant Cartomiser that Gordy has linked to, I get on famously with . . . a doddle to fill and they last me anything from 2 - 4 weeks, a couple of other members bought them on the last GB, so hopefully they'll see this and pitch in with their findings as well . . . as they may be different to mine.

Thanks for your feedback and advice guys, I will look at all the suggestions. That "type b" has come up somewhere before so maybe worth a look. I just couldn't get on with the cartos, they kept drawing dry after a few fulls and I don't have the patience to top up all the time lol. I have tried some of my juice (Pv menthol tobac) in the bud and a boge side by side and I got more flavour from the bud lol I know that may not be the case for some juices though.
Off to look at links recommended! Thankks guys

They can Josie . . . but you have to watch the voltage you put through them, I deaded a brand new one, by having the volts too high . . . 3.7v is good I've found.
