Hi, my coil died today, when I pressed my MVP display it read as NON, I tried a disposable atty in it and it read it fine so it was definately the coil, It was a 2.0 coil, I had tried to buy some replacements but the seller only had 1.8 so I got them, when I attached the 1.8 and vaped it on the same settings as the 2.0 it was popping, I've had to reset it down to 7.5 which seems quite good, the popping vanished, I had been running the 2.0 on 9.0 now running the 1.8 on 7.5, is that right?

A fresh coil will pop it's way through up to 2 tanks full as it beds in. You'll probably find you'll be able to increase the watts as it does this. So long as it's vaping okay for you now there's no need to worry

All the coils I build pop, to me it's the sound of a happy coil. So long as it's not spitting juice into your mouth you'll be okay. thumb up

Vicky! my MVP often reads non when I change coils or atties, all I do is turn it off the wiggle the conection pin and it will work fine, the pin only has to be half a hair out and it won't fire, I think it may have something to do with some coils and atties having a very slight difference in the thread length, as for popping coils some of mine do, others don't even though they come from the same packet, they usually settle down though, did you leave it a little while to soak the juice up before you fired up! mine tends to crackle a bit If I don't,,

Yes I did Mow, I tried to dismantle the burned out one so I could see the coil but struggled to open it lol, a set of pliars on each end, I squashed one end so when it came apart I still couldnt see where coil was and it was unusable lol so I guess shop bought ones are best for me, I got 5x1.8 coils for £6.60 with a free one cos the 2.0 I originally ordered were out of stock so i'm happy with these, just wasnt sure of the popping but it seems I have a happy coil lol
