Owl, never go to bed before 0200hrs and i'm in work at 0630hrs. I might sleep in until 0900hrs at the weekend but i just seem to be someone that needs little sleep. Plus all the best stuff happens after midnight

Mine came up as 'Extreme Owl' Tis true as well, I hate the mornings, cannot function in the mornings, am better off staying in bed till I'm ready to function. I have a sign up in my house with the words "I DON'T DO MORNINGS" with a picture of a cartoon lady bear in a dressing gown, bunny rabbit slippers & hair rollers looking half asleep holding a mug in one hand - now that is definitely me, except for the rollers Go to bed real late as well, normally after 2am and possibly some time before 3am

Crikey toots is that weekdays? What time do you surface in the morning and (if it's not too personal) what age are you? Here, against what I'd thought, as I get older I need more kip. May be to do with having to spend more energy doing things during the day I'd have breezed through in me 20s, or summat. Anyway, I read this Kindlebook the other day and it shines a light on sleep needs and ways to improve how you gain from sleep : Linky. It's a good, non-condescending guide to improving your night's sleep, no matter how many hours you actually kip for.

Haha, I normally surface sometime between 10 & 11 in the morning, unless I have an appointment somewhere. Let's just say I would have reached retirement age this year if it wasn't for the government raising the women's retirement age to 67 When it comes to money, I always seem to miss out somehow I only get about 7/8 hours kip a night coz of the time I go to bed, it's just my sleep pattern/cycle differs from most others Oh, and I work at home so it don't really matter that I do odd hours to anyone else, I just work the times to suit me

7 or 8 hours is super Some nights it's been a bonus to get 5 hours in. Being one of those folk who brings their baggage to bed, thinking about what happened today, what might happen tomorrow, the world, aches and pains... all the silly wee things that your brain decides to whiz around with when all you really need to do is nod off.

Ooooh yeah, I hate nights like that. You get up feeling worse than ever the next day, as though you've had no sleep whatsoever. I've had many of them nights too
