Especially VapingBad for his recommendation to replace the tiny screws and the link to the ebay seller. Ordered yesterday, they came today, replaced, assembled the 2mm head, used my usual .28mm Kanthal, and it worked a treat, 3 out of 4 lovely coils. Had to play around with the wraps and when I test fired them, they seemed to drop ohms until they were repositioned in the head, so maybe something was touching something, anyhow it works. Well. Easily. Not tried the other sizes yet, but I will do, just really to try them out. Have replaced ALL the screws on all the heads just in case! its so much simpler than flaming the wire, wrapping, tweezer pinching and flaming, cooling etc. now to test them for real in a tank or three..... a huge To everyone who gave suggestions, said theirs worked well, and all other words of encouragement, it's worth persevering with folks, my coiling tool box is now much lighter. minor problem, I ordered two sets, one for my son and sadly one set came with two 2mm heads and no 2.5mm head. Have contacted puff palace and await their reply. Selfishly I'm using the full set, son will have to wait. Does that make me very mean? Edit.....just had a reply from puff palace, they have offered me a complete new set, for free, WOW. Now there's customer service. If they don't want the original set back I'll offer it for free on here, but it won't have the 2.5mm head and will have the original tiny screws.

Thanks sleedale glad you got it working for you and well done for persisting with it. This is the Coil Master, not the Kuro that needed the screws for the smaller coils.

sleedale Glad its working for you. I am more than happy with mine. I'm awaiting cataract surgery and although I can coil fairly well on a drill bit etc, this has made it a little easier. Just done 10 Evod type heads with .25 Kanthal on the 2mm post.

and I found a use for one of my now unused cig cases......was one bought new a couple of years ago as a gift and never used for cigs as it was too big for roll ups but it makes a great case for the coil master thing, the elastic holds the bits in place and it's just about deep enough. Knew it'd come in handy one day
