I stopped adding to our running total about 9 months ago when it reached about 1500 quids it's got to be well over 3000 by now, I collect atty's, sad but true! There's three provaris, a dani, a couple of regulated boxes, a load of drippers and a selection of tubes, dozens of batteries, three chargers the list goes on and on! there's enough wire and wicking to last a lifetime and I've got into buying American juice in the last 3-4 months which is a slippery slope, especially as there's enough nic and flavours in the freezer to last at least four years. I buy for the two of us though and I think were at about ten grand not spent on cigs so we're quids in in real terms. I tend to buy high end stuff in the classies at the right price though, full retail is too much for me

Can I tempt you to the dna40 lightside smifee? It will mean buying a mod (get a genuine evolv40 one, not a clone, Vaporflask looks good. I don't trust Chinese electronics), some nickel wire, and re-learning some things about how you expect a mod to perform. e.g. I now vape at 15-17W, my nickel coil is 0.1 to 0.3 ohms, (the Kanger Subtech OCC rebuild version). Takes a bit of adjustment, but you soon feel the benefit. Knowing that the mod won't emit shitty substances is 95% of the battle If it's boxy and bigger than the iStick 30W it's not for me. I've been in a happy vaping place for a few months now. I only use one type of tank on all my devices. I only have one gauge wire to recoil the heads. I don't vape over 10W that I know of. I have 10 tanks, with different flavours, on the go all the time. Bloody windows keep fogging up though. I am a bit of a daredevil though. I've got a dripper. But I only use it to test new mixes.

I am pretty happy with the equipment, so hopefully unless robby finds another bargain I should be self sufficient for a good while . Your stuffed then, robby won't stop tempting you he can't help himself. Vaping tech still has a way to go, maybe in 10 years there will be nothing new and better than last year. I wonder how many hundred different drippers and mechs there have been is the last 2 years, there are differences but mostly they are small differences.

I think, our vaping life is something like a curve... In the beginning we are all spending too much for atties, mods, batteries, liquids, etc... then we reach our peak and then we're spending just to replace things like accessories and liquids... That peak depends on if we have found our sweet spot regarding our equipment... Personally, I have spend a lot of money, on things that were too usefull and even more to crap things... No innovation at all, and the things that are on the market are almost, if not, the same as VapingBad said... I have to admit that I want to buy a couple of mods, just because I have some orphan atties in order to make them a set... Besides that, the only money I spend the last 6 months is for concentrates...

I'm still spending less than I would have done on tobacco or cigs for me and the wife, so I'm not too bothered. The health and well-being benefits are the big winner here, surely? I feel so much better now that I don't smoke. I was looking at my out of control stable of tanks last night when I actually put them all in the same place at the same time - rather frightening, but also satisfying. It's a strange thing, this shinyitis!!

Yesterday I went out and bought 3 electric toothbrushes costing just over £50. Oral b good ones in a sale! This was money left over from last week. Just over 2 years ago, this money would have been spent on ciggies. My point is, despite my manic vape spends, I still have cash in my pocket I'm either better handling my money or vaping is cheaper than smoking despite splurges.

Let`s face it @spikeyfridge , you are in denial, just mention the word "squonk" and you start skipping and dancing like a 5 year old !!!!!!!

Just worked out roughly how much I've spent on vaping since giving up smoking over 8 months ago. £900.00, but as I smoked rollies and a mate brought back baccy from Spain every few months, I've only saved £390.00 odd. But my general health has improved enormously and you can't really put a price on that. In the future I will be mostly making my own juices and probably buying less hardware , so costs should go down.

Haha a classic statement! The answer is yes...but look at it this way...you are spending for health overall. As a smoker you wheeze cough and generally feel horrible. Now as a vaper you can taste and smell things better and you don't smell of smoke anymore. It's really a benefit and such a better alternative...I personally think I like or am addicted to exhalling vapour and blowing rings. Finding your sweet spot it crucial tho...obviously you start with the crappy clearos and hopefully you will find what works for you. My current hit list is spheroid. Kayfun mini. Orchid and a few various drippers.
