Ok, so my mobile phone can be charged either from USB or from the mains, and has an adaptor plug that the USB lead plugs into. Could I plug an e-cig USB charger into it and use it to charge, thus removing the need to buy a seperate adaptor for the e-cig? It's the same thing isn't it? Or am I being completely dense and going to make my e-cig blow up and set the house on fire?

Go for the recommended ecig one Honkey, I can't recall all the technicals of it . . . but not all these phone chargers have the necessary capacity to charge an ecig successfully . . . if they do without exploding . . . it can take hours and hours.

Can you see the label on it and see what the OUTPUT is? I use a mobile phone USB charger to charge my Riva batteries. And have done for over 2 years.

mains USB adapters simulate a USB socket and should have an Output of 5 volts with 500 milliamp ...even if the milliamps is lower it should still charge all but a little slower

These extremely cheap things on eBay are always going to be a bit suss... hey I bought a nose hair trimmer on eBay for £1 and guess what it was a piece of crap that I threw in the bin after trying it one time, and now a year later my nose hair is a foot long.

yeh funny thing is i put a titan on charge earlier....must of been just over an hour and took it off and put in my pcc and it indicated it was fully charged so dont know if that was faster than normal. even though mains was still red when i took it off and even when i put on over night(at least 10hrs) it was red in the morning.

I'm the same Gordy, not that I have any super dooper technology to fry . . . but for a few quid, I'd rather have peace of mind and use what's recommended for ecig usage.
