Strange to hear that, I've not had a cold since I completely switched to vaping, not any of the other winter nasties I used to get. Also interesting to note that the harmful things are similar to the pollutants found in the air from vehicles etc. and I thought that PG was used to limit bacteria in air conditioning, and isn't it used in inhalers for asthmatics? Not good news for them, then!

This passage is surely the key....just 1% in comparison to fags. So where's the argument as to which is better for you.?

That's the key, virtually everything you inhale is potentially damaging including the constituents of perfectly clean air like oxygen, the important thing is how significant that risk is.

Aggressive marketing: Where did I find out about e-cigs? Yh, right!!

I want to see the full results of this 'research' tho.

They subjected a 40 gram mouse to 1000 puffs a day, 5 x the human average, with poor ventilation
Of 18mg juice, from what were quite possibly dry cartos.
This is just plain cruelty to animals, tells us nothing useful.

The anecdotal evidence from vapers is exactly the opposite, someone needs to study that.

What gets me is where have various news channels read all this info from? Anyone following the paper trail will get stuck with just a partial quote.

When stuff like this gets published links should be included to the information by which the writer came to their conclusion. Or else it's just valueless opinionated drivel to a reader.

They still seem to be aiming for that knee jerk reaction from those in power.

^^^^^ what he said... these sort of studies need to be as directly compared with the sensible ones to provide balance and to try to counteract that kneejerk reaction

 ECITA. No wonder the mice got ill. Weight for weight the mice were exposed to 2000 times the level of vapour that a vaper would inhale. How can anyone expect fair results from a test exposing a mouse to human levels of anything?
