The amp limit on the Samsung is 5.2 A and the other I would guess is 4.4 A at best (based on a 2 C rating). So IMO the safe limits for these are 13 W & 11 W, there is probably a little leeway/buffer and I would not go above 15 W, but above 13 & 11 W you are taking a risk. One thing you can do is not to run the batteries down low because as their voltage goes down the mod has to take more amps from them to provide the power. I'm not likely to go above those levels to start tbh. But they'd do to get me vaping while I choose a better battery? At those wattages you will be fine and the safety levels have to be lowish, no need to get stressed as batteries going bang is very rear, just keep an eye on them for getting hot in use. When you can I would get a battery like the Panasonic NCR18650PD that is 10 a for that mod or the Samsung 25R, Sony VTC4 if you are going to get a more powerful mod in the next year.

I've no doubt it won't take me long to go more powerful. I've found a good price on the LG he2. They'd be good for the 20w vamo right?

Yep, they are a lot higher current rating (20 A IIRC) and have better safety.

Cool, I think I'm getting my list sorted now. Vamo ( possibly 40w v7 if my budget can stretch), 2 LG he2's and a charger. Time to go shopping Thanks for all the help

Since torchy is moving house, does anyone know who sells effest 2000 IMR 18650 button top batteries? I have found these batteries very reliable, but need some new ones now.

Second that VapingBad. Used him many times - great service. One battery had a marked wrap, no big deal I just wrapped it again. Let him know and he sent me another free.

Bought 2 Effest 2000 IMR18650 batts from ecolux and they don't hold the charge as good as the same batts from torchy.
Have contacted ecolux to ask for advice on this.
