The WP2 like Ripshod linked are good, I have had a V2 one for a least 2 years, VapeEscape also do Xtar chargers. Nitecore are good, just a little slow IMO. I have a Nitecore D2 and a D4 drunkenbum. Yep they're slower than a 1Amp charger, but with so many spare batteries my vape doesn't suffer

Thanks for all the help guys. It's just a little daunting with so many to choose from. I'm gonna get a few batteries and I'll only be using the vamo at home so speeds not gonna be a massive issue really

+1. LG HE2/HE4 would be good for 40watts too. If you upgrade to more than 50watts in the future only the VTC4s would be recommended.

How long can these types of batteries be expected to last? I don't mean hours, but months/years before the charging discharge cycle gives up.

Are ICR batteries ok or are they to be avoided? OK for lower powered regulated mods that have the safety features built in, upto 15 W roughly and stick to good brands like Panasonic, Samsung etc.

They come with the mod. Ones a Samsung, not sure on the other one. Do you reckon they'd be ok to get me going?

Depends on which batteries and if you vape at 20 W, at 20 W you could be pulling 8 A when the battery gets low and most good ICR are rated at six point something amps.

So IMO the safe limits for these are 13 W & 11 W, there is probably a little leeway/buffer and I would not go above 15 W, but above 13 & 11 W you are taking a risk. One thing you can do is not to run the batteries down low because as their voltage goes down the mod has to take more amps from them to provide the power.

I'm not likely to go above those levels to start tbh. But they'd do to get me vaping while I choose a better battery?
