Just refilled my aerotank 2 and the vapour was tasting burnt. It's got a 1.5 ohm coil in that I've been using for a few days. For some reason since I refilled my mvp is reading the coil at 2.1 to 2.2. Anyone know what can be causing this?

Gunked up coils could be a likely suspect.
Clean connection on the bottom of the Atty and on the mod connection too.
Take a look at the coil if you can or change it out of the problem persists.

Will I be able to see the coil if I pull the chimney off? Would a dry burn help?

I'll have another go tomorrow when I've got some pliers out the shed

Shouldn't need pliers, wiggle from side to side rather than just pulling

I went onto rebuildables after the aerotanks cos they annoyed me so much. If I was going to have so much hassle trying to take it apart, I'd rather have the hassle making a decent vape!

Rebuildables will be coming at some point I'm sure but at the moment the whole rebuildable thing baffles me

It might help if you stick the coil in the base for extra stability and grip, try wiggling the chimney off that way. They can be stubborn little buggers sometimes!

Unless you are going to re-wick/re-coil, I don't see the point of taking the "chimney" off!
