So been using a new aerotank2 with my Istick but just gone to open it to top up and noticed it was seemingly stuck on the Istick, so took it all off after plenty of effort, but now the little adapter (not sure what you call it) that goes into the top of the Istick (inbetween the istick and beauty ring/battery) funny shaped thing will not come out of the aerotank at all tried to unscrew it, even took a pair of pliers to it but still wont budge, all its doing is ruining the thread Anyone have any clue how to get this damn thing off? only got crap back up equipment and getting proper stressed, need a fag

Can you give it a tap/knock to seat the threads again? Rubber band, gloves? Is it spinning uselessly on the adapter?

Not sure of best way to describe it, its the adapter piece (round at bottom) that connects the Istick to the clearo and is covered by the beauty ring, got it out of the istick easy-ish after a struggle but can't get it out of my aerotank, ripped my finger to shreds and the pliers are no use just can't get purchase on it as its just moving the tank in my other hand

I'd sacrifice the adaptor to save the aerotank. If you have a vice grip the adaptor 510 threads in the vice then use vape grips or rubber gloves to unscrew the aerotank. Adapters are only a couple of quid

The heat might just expand the adapter enough to loosen it up.

Whole setup in the freezer for 20 mins. Teatowel to help hold the adapter and give it a go. Worse comes to worse, go into diy shop tomorrow and try some of the off the shelf pliers 'before you buy'

Yes heat then freeze and heat again if you have to....prob juice and heat from use has welded it. You can lock onto the aero tank part easy, just stick a small screwdriver,or what ever in the air hole and turn to the end for leverage. Use a lacky band between the grips for the adapter.

I've had 2 tanks that this has happened to with the istick nothing would budge them and I ended up permenantly fixing the ego adaptors to my istick to prevent this happening again Greeny1210. Seems to have worked I replaced the ego adaptors with these www.fasttech.com/products/1473305 £2.19 for 5 and use these aerotank mini clones www.fasttech.com/products/1772605 £5.75. Unfortunately from fasttech and they are about to close for annual holidays so delivery will be slow but maybe worth buying spares from them.

No mate the adapter that is stuck to the tank has no thread left from trying to get it off with pliers so wont attach to the istick anymore
