cheap idea

Just been browsing fleabay, and say few 4 hints that gave me an idea I'd like to share with every one hear. 
As my name suggests, I'm a redneck,  and like to make things easier and cheaper rather than shop brought tat. 
I did look for a DIY bored but couldn't find the right 9 lace so moderators please forgive me. 
So anyway I saw a holder that holds PVs. And thought rather that spending a few quid, I'd look in my man cave, and I found what I wanted. 




my thoughts are easy. One of these, small screw car dashboard and my trusty ole drill. 
There we have it, in car vape holder. 
I then thought I'd put one by my bed. 
So i will be buying more as i figured I'd put one everywhere i spend more than 5 minutes
I thinking I will also get smaller ones to put a long my desk wall for my attys 
super handy when rebuilding coils.

15mm Pipe Clip

It's a pipe clip for copper pipe, you can get them in 15mm or 22mm I have white ones and black ones, and I think they do Grey, you can get them in places like Wicks or B&Q, if you get any check the plastic it's made from, some are pretty hard plastic and would scratch your case, look for the softer plastic, I use these ones on my boat for holding battery's and atties, bit more giving and gentler on the coating, link

The old woman's permanently affixed to the dashboard, I just stick whatever device I'm using in her teeth then hit the throttle. Best clamp in the world.

Poundland have something similar occasionaly, it's as OP posted but wider base and spring based round section, we use them for clipping lights onto the poles on boat, now going to see if I got any left, ideal for Vamo, good idea that man

I need to get 18mm ones for my aspire lol
had an odd one. But can't find any, anywhere apart from ebay

I think the ones we use are half inch (13. something mm), but spring loaded and open further, if I find one report back.

If it's the same type as your first one you can get them in Wicks, B&Q, Homebase, any Plumbers, Builders merchants, Screwfix
