hi guys I'm going to be getting the subtank mini but have a couple questions for the users of this. firstly I'm not yet into lung inhales I'm a mouth to lung vapour but with my nautilus I'm happy to have it on the 3rd hole no problem for me! would this be do able on the subtank mini? I was thinking of the 1.2 ohm coil and vaping at around 10w for a cooler vape and secondly is it possible to build say a 2 ohm coil on the rba deck? I know that's not technically the point of the subtank but I'm a fiddler and I love the ability to build your own and it looks wicked

I can do mouth to lung inhales on mine with the airflow turned down perfectly ok.
I have tried the 1.2ohm coil but found around 15w to be the best point for me. Saying that everyone is different so 10w may be fine for you!
As to the rebuildable deck, I only build it around the 0.5 - 1ohm mark but don't see a problem in building higher.
You are right. Just because it is called a subtank it doesn't mean you have to sub ohm! Each to their own I say.
It is a very good tank in my opinion and is easy to build on so enjoy it!

No leaks as yet mattyjones1977 and have had it for 10 days or so rotating between rba base and occasionally head as I can't stop fiddling about with it! What device will you be using it on? It seems to be better on a regulated device for me.

jmw2309 I'm gonna be using it on my istick 30w for now at least I'm waiting on the 50w good that you've not had any leaks that would have annoyed me if it was a dribbler lol

I've not had the sub tank drip a drop, one of its best features for me. I think you'll find it much airier than the nautilus and if your wanted to mouth to lung you may want to change the drip tip to a narrower bore. The old kayfun type drip tips are favoured by some for MtL.

I've done a lot of reading and see that it's a fair bit airier and the general consensus seemed to be not for the mtl of us but I'm certain with some tweaking it will be a great vape.

I've heard some people say they use them MtL but it's hard for me to qualify that as once you get used to lung inhaling anything else appears pants. That's not saying it's pants for everyone but it's just a case of becoming accustomed to how you vape. When I started out I was mightily impressed with an Evod, I find them hopeless now but that doesn't make them a bad atty for others.

Am loving the RBA section, 1.2 ohm build and using any where between 8w (yes I'm a wimp) and 15w, depending on the juice . i felt a bit of fraud at first, reading about users thumping out 30watts on 0.3 builds, but soon realised that's no good for me. Some people Skydive, buts that's not for me either The subtank gives me a fantastic Vape, excellent flavour and I am a very happy bunny, not a sub bunny, but a very contented one nonetheless

Greg what sort of power are you using with the 0.5ohm OCC base please? I only played with the OCC briefly but the 0.5 I used between 18 and 20 watt, they are rated between 15 and 25. I run the RBA at 23 watts .

Ah I am in the same sort of range then. I keep reading people's accounts of using them at the same wattage as the atlantis and was wondering how they are achieving it.
I am still trying to get the wicking right on the rba base!

got my subtank mini yesterday and also a smaller bore drip tip tried the 1.2 ohm occ and was extremely impressed with it. had a play with the rba deck and built a 1.8 ohm with muji cotton and very very good setup for me personally plenty of flavour and a good throat hit but essentially for me cooler vape too.

I built the RBA base with nickel earlier. Didn't go so well. I seem to be getting a hit and miss 0.2ohm reading and check atomiser with it asking if its a new head every couple of puffs. Probably a slightly loose connection in there somewhere. Will have another play tomorrow.
