If you dont have a vice try putting the ego adapter in a drill chuck. Youll get better leverage on the drill chuck than with pliers.

Yeah none of these are mini's they are aerotank v2 and aerotank mega
I've managed to get a replacement bottom for the v2 but the mega is stuck solid and its been like since I filled it up for the 1st time so Can't do nowt with it
I think the main problem has been the istick adapter so will probably need to change the thread title, still not happy with how easy the aerotanks stuck together solid though

I wouldn't mind betting that a fair percentage of issues Vendors have is where something has been overtightened - I try and drum into any ' converts ' I've made not to do it. My vaping friend can't cope with filling an Evod, I do it . . . so happily there's not an issue with them.

I assummed as you was using the adaptor you had an aerotank mini....confusing myself now..... can you post a picture of everything?

Yeah It seems I didn't need the adapter but nothing comes with instructions, I just presumed you needed it for some reason Pics below, the silver one is working kind of but keeps playing up, the aerotank2 which is on it seems fine now both isticks still have the adapter stuck solid and the blue one wont work at all the other tank - aero mega will not come apart where it should at all to fill up, only the top half but you can't fill it up properly

I had an aerotank mega stick on me just once. Ended up using a rubber glove (marigold - pink) on the top section with a small allen key in the air hole for leverage. Never over tightened it again I tell you.

Greeny1210 Right I can see what you have and are talking about now...... You don't need the adapters so just get some bloody great big grips and take them off, as I said before do it square to the threads as not to cross thread or take out your i sticks female thread......You can then get to the postive pin if required (brass thing on the istick in the middle off the 510 connector) you can then raise it with a small flat head screwdriver to get a positive connection. You might not need to do the latter with the Aerotanks straight onto the i sticks, depends if the adapter has pushed it down and has a deeper 510, the male thread. The mega, put a small screwdriver in the air hole and turn anti clockwise until it locks, this will give you the leverage to take the base off without any damage. Wrap an elastic band around the main tank section to get some grip if you have to. If your silvers sort of working then sort the mega and blue first, don't take yourself totally down. Good luck.
