A nice and cheap solution to getting the Nautilus Mini apart! All that's required is a couple of 25mm open grommets, these are made of rubber and available from your local hardware shop or electrical wholesaler for the princely sum of about 5p each or tap up your local tame electrician. One fits snuggly on the base and the other with a light squeeze grips the glass making unscrewing a doddle!

Great idea vectis. We've got a set of vape grips but for the Nautilus Mini we'll be using these.

I'm glad it's not just me. I honestly thought I'd over tightened mine when I first got it so this tip is great.

To be honest,I think the problem is that some people are over tightening in the first place. There is such a good seal on these and no need at all to tighten them down hard.I have never had a problem with mine as I just screw down until snug.Never ever had a leak as it's such a good seal,in fact the best I have had on any tank.

I think that after Pro tanks etc. that could be true. But even now after being very careful I still sometimes struggle to get a grip of the thin ring to separate it but this is mainly due to my hands being buggered and slightly arthritic. I will say it's the best tank I've owned never had a gurgle, leak or dry hit with it and after a month of daily use I decided to change the coil not because I had to just because it felt unnatural that I hadn't yet changed it.

I have got to agree with you there.I have been vaping for 3 years now and tried all the new tanks that have been around in that time. For me the nautilus is the best tank I have ever owned, cannot fault it in any way.I don't know which one you have, but I have the mini, and the 5ml tanks and was thinking if you have trouble with your grip you may find the 5ml tank easier to grip being that bit bigger around. That's the way find it anyhow.
