Tonight's show will be a Beginner's Special. Dave and Sav will host folks who want their questions answered, and we're going to open the Skype lines so you can ask and be answered live!
All you need to do is post a request in the Chat, and skype Sav on savgirl1 and she will add you to the conversation as soon as a slot is available. No need for a camera - voice will do quite nicely.
We really hope this will be a useful programme for everybody, and feel free to ask any question you like - a lot of the team will be there to help out.
9pm GMT - a little earlier to get a good seat!

Very disappointed with this tonight. I posted this on MSE, thinking this would be a beginners help show and it wasn't at all.
I was thinking a basic show, with all the basics covered, which connection, what a battery does, why choose a carto/atomizer or a tank.
Disappointed.

I'm sorry you were disappointed, but we can only answer the questions that are posed. Had you posed those questions, I would have been delighted to have answered them. VT Talk is completely unscripted, and relies on the viewers to pose the questions they want answered. If they're not asked, then I don't know they want answered.
The more formal Beginner's Guides happen in the Haze Hour

Fair enough, I didn't realise it was only a questions answer show. I remove my disappointment then

I watched this and was dissapointed that the callers seemed to be seasoned vapers, maybe not enough beginners Skyped in? Perhaps next time we need to spread the word to the beginners to get them to Skype in?

And tbh, if any newbies were watching the show last night, I doubt they'll be watching again for a long time.

Perhaps next time we need to spread the word to the beginners to get them to Skype in? I think Olgit is a very new vaper - and you'd have noticed that most of the questions came in from Chat. I agree, to a large extent, that it would have been nice to have had more very recent beginners posing questions - but, again, it's pretty much out of our control. Sav and Cat wrangle the questions, and I do know that every one was passed through to the studio. All we can do is set the topic - after that, it's down to the folks watching the show live.

I agree with the comments you all have made, but you are right, it is hard to get beginners to pose questions, but we won't be put off at all, we will continue to do all we can to help beginners get off to a good start. Tonight Dave is going to cover 'How NOT to buy an a ecig" which again I think is going to be helpful to beginners. We try with every show we do to keep beginners in mind. We have done several shows covering the subjects that you mention Womble, and Im sure we shall do more in the near future, but we will try and give as much advance warning as possible so everyone can spread the word to those starting out..

vttv now have the forums set up forum.vapourtrails.tv/ with each and every show having a section. It could be the perfect place for new vapers with any and all questions that they want answers and demonstrations on to post on. We all need to get behind and support the concept of vttv because its great value and education to all who watch and during the week there will be something for every one to learn from. if you are new to electronic cigarettes and want some questions answered just post them and i am sure you will have your answer it may even end up on the show with a clear demonstration which will help a lot. lets support this great show as a community and together we can raise public awareness.
