Making anouther epipe started milling the switch out today. Pipe blank ordered. A lovely white oak number The mark 2 switch hopefully will be 5mm shorter assuming I don't screw up the next stage. This means I can use same design ish but use pipes 50mm bowl depth which opens up a whole new range. Have chosen the coin to go in the switch a lovely stork in marshes design. Pipe should arrive in next 8-10 days. Should have switch completed next 3-4 days tomorrow is a no no as having a tooth extraction

Side by side of original switch and the mk2 Still need to hand refine internal seat etc before soldering and start the first sand and polish. Likewise for coin needs a good polish. Here's what I'm hoping to fit it in.

All soldered in and resin poured. Just the solid silver battery contact to go on. Silver contact fresh from the plaster mould

Just tact switch as its only a 18350 battery.although the internals of the tact switch have been beefed up. If I win auction I'm bidding on atmo ( a bloody big pipe ) That will take a 18650 then I'm hoping to put the innards of an istick in it lol. Or if that doesn't work then a mofset .

I use some little dinky mosfets. still take up a good 1/2" though. not so much a problem when putting them in a box but a pipe, space is gonna be tight..

Would be possible in theory but carving out a hole would be very awkward in the harder woods as you would be cutting it out through the button hole. I'll have to look into a wireing diagram as the switch in the epipes works like a mech mod design. I cannot see how it could be incorporated yet. I'll have to go away and have a think lol.

Ok the white oak pipe I had ordered has gone to pot. It appears people do not know how to use a ruler 43mm is apparently the new 55mm Sooooo had to change tack. Welcome to the new pipe I'll be useing. Let's hope this person can use a ruler correctly.

Thats a bit of blunder on their part, nearly 1/2" out. Better luck with the next 1 we hopes. EDIT:would these PIPE COVERS be any good for the white oak, might make up the extra up top of the bowl ?. Just a thought.

Hey Igual, Thats looking pretty sweet. don't worry about size the future... try an 18240 more scope on smaller pipes. I made a touch switch using mosfet and resistors works pretty well just gotta neaten up the inards
