You can mix VG with de-ionised water Giz . . . but if you're using a PG base, it may need little if any dilution.

Vodka increases the throat hit a little, but it can also leave a slight residue taste in a mix.

A week may be a big ask agreed, but do try for 3 days at least . . . makes a heck of a difference that bit of steeping time.

How are you finding the VV?
I think had I known then what I know now I would have bypassed the Ego and gone straight to the LT - with the VV I find myself wanting a bit more oomph, and wonder what 5+v would be like?

To be fair though, now I have the VV I have 3 batteries, 2 of which are on the go constantly so I can have 2 flavours ready at my finger tips, (Which I LOVE) and with an LT I wouldn't have that, unless I bought 2!

I'm v happy with the Ego...but feel the need to venture into 5 volt territory!

I'll be going 50/50 with the PG nic (48mg) I've ordered - I currently get on better with higher nic juices and this will give me just a little less than 24mg after adding flavour. I have Vodka and like good throat hit, so coud add some if nec?

I did get a VG only juice (Can't remember where now) and it took ages to soak into the carto when filling. When it did it wasn't a great experience vaping with it because it seemed to take such a long time between vapes to soak back around the coil, so I would prefer to avoid thicker juice.

Maybe a tot of vodka?

A tot for you and a few drops for your mix I'd suggest Giz.

VG is notorious for not wicking/absorbing that well . . . but it does give you lovely plumes of vapour . . . a 50/50 mix will be nice and straightforward to do, I'm sure you'll tweak your mixes the more you do.

Maybe make up a small bottle of diluted VG, so you're ready to mix when your order arrives.

Already thought of that!
But then quickly realised I have no decent sized bottles to put the mix into....so a quick visit to LF and I now have empty bottles galore on their way! and a bottle of flavour too!

Hey Giz, i've not got the LT, are you talking about the VV passthrough?

mmm, I'm liking it but the highest it goes is 4.2, (wonder what throat hit you get from 4.5!)
I've noticed that Jason has 1300Mah Rivas in that are 4.2 and after the poor guy whose mod blew up in his face I'm thinking that a totally inept person like me should probably stick to the simple route,lol!

I'm trying to cut the nic content in my juice cause I'm a total chain vaper and I've been having trouble sleeping. But, hey, whatever works and keeps us from the horrid nasties, it's all good

It's either a tot of vodka for the throat hit.

Or distilled water will do just to make it thinner

I have no problems with VG.. always mixed it with PG AG tho.

So if I put in:

8 ml of 48MG UNFLAVORED NICOTINE LIQUID

1 ml flavouring of my choice

4 ml of VG

7 ml plain BP grade PG..

Would that give me 20ml of 19.2 mg strength 80PG-20VG base liquid?

That should have read always mixed it with AG... who did that.

Yes that sounds about right macca. If you mix 8 with 8 it gives you 24mg.

48mg /19.2mg=2.5 2.5 x 8ml= 20ml so 12mls other = 19.2mg

if you wanted 16mg strength.. 48mg/16mg=3 3 x 8ml=24ml so would be 16mls other to get the strength

I'll be doing mine like this... 440ml 36mg VG + 550ml VG = roughly 990ml 16.4mg strength + 10% flavoring will give me somewhere around 15mg finished product... lol

I'll buy a few flavours and try them out by mixing 10ml each before going for large quantities of the flavours I like..

depending on what the flavouring is i usually do mine at 20% flavouring.... Perpy hits it up to 30%... the thing is to do little tester bottles, you can always add flavour but not take it away

10% can be a lot but that gives room to dilute too. Like these guys say you can use a lot more, all depends on you taste buds.

The bulk of what i'll have is 990mls of 16.-mg of unflavoured juice. Then I put it in 10ml bottles as and when I need it and add flavour accordingly.

Has worked for me up till now lol. If at any point I found it too weak I'd just get a small bottle of stronger stuff maybe from Nicbase or whatever the shop is called and amp it up as needed. My usual 18mg mix does seem to be getting a bit heavy on me now. So I'm gonna try toning down a little.

I hate waiting for deliveries!
My VIP order was placed on the 14th, hit Moreno Valley sorting facility on the 16th at 5pm and was in San Bernadino at 8pm. It then arrived at Los Angeles sorting facility on the 17th at 6.38am, and thats the last tracking entry! Is it safe to assume it may have arrived in the UK and we're just not as efficient at updating tracking info as the US?

I have bottles of VG with 15% vodka mixed in 10ml and 30ml bottles ready to go. I've raided LF and supermarkets for flavourings and now have quite a supply. I realise people have advised that you can mix flavour and vg without nic, but what will the vaped results be? Is it just the flavour you will taste, or will throat hit be apparent?

I've thought of mixing like this but see little point if the vape will change dramatically once nic is added? (I realise I would have to add more flavouring to the mix once the PG/nic is added to maintain the same flavour %)

And to top it all - I have the HCGB to wait for too!
