Skin choice restricted by name colours

This isn't a complaint - more an FYI.

I love the Black/Grey skin on this forum, easier for me to read at night. Yet for a while now I've been struggling to read certain things. Thought I'd post this now as Vapourz has just signed up and his name just melts into the background (virtually invisible)

I know it's hard to sort stuff like this through my own experience, but now I'm stuck with the other skins which hurt my eyes -  the Black/Grey is becoming impossible to use, and really shouldn't be offered as a choice.

My honest opinion - as simply as I can put it.

Something for Chrissie to look into, but is it just those in the Unregistered Vendors group names that are faint, Ripshod?

Actually, just looked in another window & my eyes are watering now. As I can't do those colours, but in that group, the names do fade out on the light grey posts & us mods get lost on the dark.

I think the main problem is with vendors and unregistered vendors. Sometimes seeing the Mods is a problem too. But it's only on the one skin.

And no, I ain't gonna use the pink skin PinkyPuff

Yes, that's what I found & only in that one.

I agree on the pink, I had trouble when the Xmas bits were on here & used the pink, it made my eyes bleed!  Sorry, PinkyPuff!

Unfortunately, I the colour of the various user groups are global across all themes In other words, I can't change the colour of them to fit in with a theme & I've therefore chosen colours that show well on the default theme as that is the one that the majority of folks use. i.e. 7,363 use the default theme & only 30 use the black/grey theme.

Regarding the unregistered vendor group - they aren't actually allowed to post anywhere on the forum, so shouldn't really be a problem.

However, I will have a look at the black/grey theme to see if there is anything I can do

Would be good if you could, but no harm if you can't Chrissie. At the end of the day I can still highlight stuff to read it

Ripshod I've had a play with mainly the mini profile colours on the black/grey theme - still got some tweaking to do, but is it any better so far?

Looks okay so far Chrissie. I think leave it for a while now to see how it goes?

ETA: I don't know though. You know how posts alternate between grey and darker grey, with the darker grey the colour of the members name has darkened - making that hard to read 

Really it was just an FYI. Like I said earlier I can highlight what I struggle with.
