YW miltiades . . . yourgurnard & @darch also use whole leaf tobacco, so they may have some recommendations for you.

Oh.....Welcome to the World of Continuous Filtering/Re-Wicking/Re-Coiling!!!! Oh so true...... you will get loads of practice (every day)..... but worth the effort if you crave a realistic flavour, and are not so worried about a few impurities being carried over with the extraction.

First extraction tried with a Bolivar Royal Corona just to see what it will bring out. I will use a vaccum flask for the filtering. Frogster (The Alchemist) , how much time you leave the product of the concentrate to the final mix to be steeped in order to bring the final e-liquid?

I experimented and found it best left in concentrate form for about two weeks, once mixed into an e-liquid about another week.
I found an old 50ml of concentrate the other day that is now almost two years old, it smells very nice..... maybe I may try some myself for old time sake.

We Want Our Own Steepers Section!! Maybe it's Too Many Years of Smoking Old Holborn & My Taste Buds are Shot But I Needed to Up the % of Baccy Concentrate When Mixing:- 30% Just Did n't Do it For Me (Re. Frogster's Sticky). Best Flavour I Got Was By Steeping the Leaf in Nic. Base For 4Weeks & Filtering. Wot I Do Now (But Still 'Playing'!..) is to Steep in 36mg. Base & Then After Filtering; Use the Leaf Again, Halving the Leaf into 2 Mugs, Covering 1 in PG, T'Other in VG & Following Mr. Frogster's Heat Method, Steeping Cold For a Bit Longer, & Then Filtering to Give Me a VG-Based & a PG-Based Concentrate. I Use These, Along With 5% of Concentrate Made By Steeping a Bit of Leaf in Vodka in a Shot Glass, to Knock the Nico. Down of the Final Mix But Wivout Diluting the Flavour Wiv Plain PG/VG.......See Why My Coils & Wicks Last For Minutes Yet?
