Anyone else having this problem? Thought i'd ask before wasting my time investigating at my end.
Been like this since yesterday morning, just tried on the Wife's laptop & that's the same, all other forums OK ATM.

It probably wasn't you, as there was a Cloudflare issue around that time, 300, all sorted now though.

Thanks jess but still the same problem here, tried Chrome & Firefox, i'm reluctant to start digging around here though as all the other forums i use are working fine. Takes me back to the days of dial-up..... load a page then go put the kettle on. I'll leave it a few days & try again.

I had this issue a couple of days ago. The banner ads weren't loading causing pages to stop until they timed-out

Apart from clearing cache & cookies, not sure what else to suggest, but sorry you're suffering dire slowness.

I have adblock running in Chrome goofy, but I support this site so it's disabled here.

I have adblock running in Chrome goofy, but I support this site so it's disabled here. Sorry, i thought proboards were a free hosting board? I fully understand that hosting costs money (i co-own a vbulletin forum and we pay hosting fees monthly for a VPN) and ads are the easiest way to recoup those costs, i just don't like spyware/adware etc which many ads carry Apologies if i'm wrong about the board hosting being free, had a few beers at darts tonight, brain has too much nonsense flowing through it atm

goofy the ads are placed there by Proboards (not me) & it's due to those ads that the forum is free. It against Proboards TOS to use an ad blocker. If we went ad free - it would cost me $137 a month due to the number of page views we get, & I can't afford that. 300 there have now been a few reports on Proboards Support, from others that are having slow loading & they all seem to be from folks that are using Virgin media.

Normal service has been resumed, pages now loading up in an instant, have made no changes here at home, was going to post half an hour ago but got called away for my tea. Yes, Virgin is my ISP, which would make sense if the problem lies with them as my Wife's laptop was the same, it was actually quicker to browse with the laptop tethered to my phone.
