hey all
so I have done dual coils and understand that if both coils are 1.2 the current is in essence divided and total ohms for build will be 0.6
BUT if I add a third coil is the overall divided by 3 (1.2 divided by 3 = 0.4) or halved again (1.2 to 0.6 to 0.3)

The power is divided equally into all coils mate
So divide by 3 in this case

blakey is correct if all the coils are the same resistance, but a resistance meter is always best, link to calculator for multiple resistances.

Its always the average resistance divided by the number of coils.
