Ooh er Greg I'm using efest Is there a problem with them ? Not a problem as such but they have a habit of quoting the wrong continuous amp rating, only becomes an issue if your low sub ohming with some of them. This issue won't arise with a VTC4, as long as they're genuine you can be sure they're good for 30A continuous

We already know the 35Amp is a rewrapped 20 Amp battery. There was a rumour the 30 Amp battery was a rewrapped Sony, yet it produced masses of heat when tested at 20Amps - so not even safe at 66% of it's printed rating. Best to get the 30Amp Sony VTC4 or the 20Amp Samsung 25R from myepack. What are you using them for @yavape?

Someone may use a battery for something today but who knows what they'll use it in / for tomorrow.

Yes I have two sony because I don't worry with them and I'll get some more now I know where to get the genuine ones thanks, my neighbour wanted efest of Amazon so I told him to wait till I asked first because his mod is high wattage a lot higher than mine ,he usually uses Sony but wondered if the effect were alright has there deceiving and you don't really get what you think you're getting and from amazon I would think they could be fake anyway in my opinion. Thank you I'll pass this on

All for the samsungs. Actually prefer them to the vct4s in most situations. Hard to compare them both with deep sub ohming as sony only quote impedance not DC resistance. @1khz AC sonys =12mohm, samsung=13mohm. Samsung 22mohm DC resistance, vct4s unknown spec.
Anyways, most importantly, the samsungs are the better choice for 0.2 ohms and above due to the better discharge characteristic. Both are great choices and are recommended by many on here
