Cure for juice leak on Kanger Subtank

I have a couple of Subtank and like the vape they give very much. The problem is I have been plagued by juice seepage around the base of the glass, despite keeping all the seal areas and other rings scrupulously clean. It has been frustrating and very annoying!  A quick net search shows I'm not alone. 

The root of the problem seems to be air getting in at the top of the tank. I am pleased to say I've found a fix! Apply a ring of clear sellotape around the joint between topcap and glass, this is all but invisible and prevents air entering the tank and so stops the juice leaving it, simple.

I seen to recall this being an issue on the original Subtanks, I'm not sure if the one in the OP is an original but they subsequently beefed up the Orings.

Might be worth getting a set of new O'rings from Myepack

+ 1 for the o-ring upgrade, you get four different colours in the box and the rings themselves provide a great seal. Never even had a mere hint of a a leak.
From memory you get black/ clear/ blue and red- why on earth they thought we would want red again is well beyond me though

Your memory is pants 

You don't get red in the kit you get a purple/violet plus the others you did remember. You've already got red so you're aligned with the Kanger train of thought

I got red
Not too bothered cos I never wanted purple almost as much as I never wanted red

The subtank mini and nano 0-rings I got had purple though, or I think its purple - whatever a mans interpretation of mauve is

nah i wanted different colours and well just incase one did smash lol
