I Received 4 bottles of Vape Kitchen ejuice today, one of which I bought and three which were sent out free for review.
So what did the friendly postie deliver
Summer Solstice
Cherry Cola
Juicy Pear
Pink Starfish
They are all supplied in a blue plastic bottle with a nice fine tipped nozzle.
All the juices are 100% VG and I was pleasantly surprised to find they weren't too thick in consistency given their make up, I'm guessing they use AG.
The bottles have the usual safety data and the nicotine strength clearly identified, all mine being 6mg and are supplied in 15ml size only.
First up is Summer Solstice
What they say :-
A refreshing blend of 11 sunshine inspired flavors. Light peach, citrus and melon notes perfectly juxtapose the ginger/vanilla infused mint julep finish. Truly unique.
What I say :-
Well I certainly never identified 11 sunshine flavours but I did taste mango and peach and a definite gingery taste at the end. I didn't get the vanilla at all but was really surprised to taste a hint of mint shortly after you think the taste is over. To me it left a definite spearmint after taste. I've never tasted a juice before that's capable of giving such different changes in flavour.
So how do I rate it, I'm really not sure yet. All the tastes were really nice but the changes left me thinking im not really sure whether I like it or love it. Definitely a different juice experience and one I need to spend a little more time exploring.
Next up, Juicy Pear
What they say :-
Fresh, sweet, juicy pear at it's finest. This e-liquid won Best All Day Vape at The Tucson E-Cigarette Fair May 2014.
What I say :-
A really nice deep pear taste but not the same as eating a fresh pair. It had a very familiar taste but it took me a little while to work out what it was.
Then it clicked, it tastes exactly like eating Del Monte tinned pears. This is a single flavour juice, Pear from start to finish and it really does do what it says on the tin / bottle.
ive never tried a Pear flavoured ejuice before but ive been tooting on this one for the last three hours or so and I love it. Probably not an all day Vape for me given its quite a sweet juice but definitely one for the evening.
Cherry Cola
What they say :-
Chef Oren's proprietary cola blend with just the right amount of bing and Washington cherry.
What I say :-
Im yet to try this one but it smells just like cola bottle sweets - to be continued. I have to so though Cola wouldn't be a flavour I would pick in a juice despite liking the drink.
Well I have to say this is an outstanding juice, I have no idea what bing or Washington cherry taste like but I do know what cherry cola tastes like and this juice is a relocates that flavour perfectly. Flavour and vapour are immense and if concentrates for this became available I could see this replacing RA, as my ADV it's that good.
Pink Starfish
What they say :-
Well actually they don't say anything as it's not even on the website yet.
What I say :-
Nothing yet as I haven't tried it but I'm looking forward to this one having no clues what it's supposed to taste of. It'll also be interesting to see how my perception of taste compares to the what they say once they say it.
I'll update the last two tomorrow but tonight I'm content with a lovely Juicy
Pair Pear
Well I'm just not sure with this one, to me it tastes like a lemon and lime sherbet so I'm not sure where the pink starfish features, it will be interesting to read the description when it hits the website.
Having used it a little more maybe there's some strawberry in there but I only recognised this after
lairey suggesting it. Quite strange to try a juice with no idea what it supposed to taste of.
As you'd expect the juices give little if any throat hit being 100% VG but the vapour production is quite immense and the taste is really smooth.
A big thank you to
lairey for asking me to review these juices.
if you think any might be up your street you will find them (apart from Pink Starfish) and many other flavours here -http://www.vanillavapes.co.uk/e-liquid/usa-e-juice/the-vape-kitchen
And finally a little birdie tells me there's a possibility concentrates MAY become available for this range in the future.
