Haven't built a PC for a while so not up to speed but These are great and an easy way to add water cooling for the CPU.

your looking at ~£1200 for a high end intel build, but this isnt really required unless you do virtual machine/rendering or cad work you wont see much of a framerate improvement from a i5 to i7 in most things. If you vould answer these I could spec you up a system using aria for you if you like.
What resolution do you game at? Do you want to run solely at Ultra resolutions? What games do you plan on playing? Do you plan on Rendoring/Cad/Virtual Pc work? Are there any features you deem essential? Do you want to overclock at all? What is your current setup?

I'd be wary of going ott, there's not a lot of gain for the latest and greatest kit, I can't see the point in paying so much extra for maybe a couple of fps at best.
I still use a core 2 duo 8500, 4 gig of ram and a 1gig gtx460 card and so far I haven't found a game that wont run at 1680x1050.
Also worth double checking how much power you'll really need, I was surprised to find I only needed like 400watts for my system at full pelt and that makes a big difference to the price of the psu.
I'd aim for the mid range area for spec, I reckon it'll be fine for years.

Right , I've put together the parts list of a proposed new setup , I've used ARIA at the moment and they are :- Case - linkMobo - link
CPU - link RAM - linkPSU - linkOS - linkSSD - linkGPU - linkCooling - linkMy old ( dead ) system consisted of a rubbish case , P67 Sabertooth Mobo , 2500k CPU , 16GB Patriot 1333 ( 2 x 8GB , 9,9,9,9 ) , H55 cooling , TX750 PSU , Win 7 Pro , 128gb ( can't remember which one atm) SSD and 1TB and 3TB storage drives , Palit GTX 650Ti 2GB. I'm going to use the storage drives in the new PC and the old SSD for games and Steam , I think both the mobo and RAM are now bin fodder , no idea about the CPU , the PSU has been on 24/7 for the past 3 years , so don't want to risk power failure and ruining new components.I don't know , but I might be able to use the GPU somehow in the new PC , but I've never used a system with 2 GPU's before. The old cooling isn't up to the newer CPU's , close , but not quite. Let me know what you think. Andy

Your set up is fine you basically throwing money at something here for minimal gain the I7 isnt needed I say this from personal experience having went from a i5 3570k to a 3770k with no frame rate increase at all in games., id personally change the mobo if you think its on its way out (the likely hood of ram failure is tiny and they have a lifetime warrenty anyways also again anything over 8gb of ram is overkill unless you virtual machine) and get a better graphics card, also you can most likely use your existing OS, I'm aware they are linked to Motherboards but you can phone them and explain the situation and they have on 3 seperate occasions let me transfer it over to the new motherboard. Also the PSU will be fine they have circuit protection meaning if it does go bang it wont wipe out your PC. Also the newer series of CPU's run cooler then your current chip.
So to sum it up I would personally get a new case, a socket 1155 motherboard (z77) and a high end GPU this would give you the greater gains in terms of framerates and smoothness and also save you money. Then if you wished you could throw in a ssd 250gb+ id go for the evo version of the one you linked as in real world you wont notice the difference in speed for your games although ive found a 250 can easily handle OS and 7-10 games comfortably and delete and reinstall as and when needed.
However if you do want to spend your cash the setup you did is fine although id drop ram to 8gb, change the ssd to the 250gb evo and change the cooler to the h100i as its far superior, also I wouldnt bother with a new PSU and would try and transfer my OS over by phoning windows ( worst comes to worst you can use a un registered version for 60 days till you buy a new OS) for maximum gains youve got to really up the spend on the GPU im afraid as the 960 is a mid range at best GPU, Id personally be looking at a high clocked 970 or 980 as a minimum but these dont run cheap and you need to be aware the new series of AMD gpus are due to hit in June usually closely followed by NVidia's offerings.

i rem hitting 500 fps in cod 3 i think on a server before they started the 125 limit but tbh fps above 60 is invisible on a norm monitor/tv what monitor you going to be using agree with the bigger ssd if its main use is for games i would go i5 and a cheaper mobo £150 will get a good i5 mobo amount of ram is again down to what monitor you got i would stick with the g card you got for now till the newer ones come out and either buy the new expensive ones or grab a bargain on the old models
