I use kirby grips because I need them to open the toilet roll holders at work so I always have a pair on me, attached to my very large set of keys (oh yeah, I'll be adding an SD keyring to that collection of keys and utensils soon ). So I'm always on the ready to pop off a carto top any any time I use paper towels when I'm at home for cleaning spills and threads on ecigs etc but I do like to use an ear bud for a proper clean of the threads now and then. If I'm at work, I'm never more than a few steps away from toilet roll or some form of paper towel so I'm covered for emergencies I have a slightly larger/thicker syringe needle that's a little too thick to use with most of my gear so it's found a new lease of life as a ce2 top popper! Also at hand when I'm at home is, I think it's meant to be some kind of weird nail pick thingy-ma-bobber on my pen knife that's infinately useful that's just perfect for getting all of the seals out of my CE2's so you wont find me without it often. I have very, very large pockets to carry my stash in In case you're wondering, my key set has 12 items on it (I need two sets, one for each job so I just carry the one big set), one being a maglite and a few keys which I just do not know what they open. It takes up a fair bit of space in my pockets. Usually I have the of keys in there, mobile, mp3 player (I can't function without music!), chewing gum, both volt ecigs in the little pocket just above the main pocket which seems to be designed just for them. In my left pocket I'll carry the eye magnet - ie the lavatube which does attract attention due to its shape and unfortunate position it likes to find itself in. I'm up here ladies, and erm... men If it was less trouble to put it in the leg pocket I'd put it there but it bumps against my leg and I'm worried I'd break it if I kept it there so for now people can just think what they like Then I'll have a pair of gloves (I work half outside and it's like -12c right now) and a bin bag because I hate not having one on me if I need to use it at work. It saves time Those are in my fleece pockets. Then in my coat pocket inside pocker is a 0.5l bottle of water and in the outer pockets are some aftershave, some chocolate bars and some vaseline for the old lips in this weather. And in the leg pocket I'll sometimes take my hat when it's bad out and keep it in there when I'm indoors I think it's time to admit I need some kind of handbag to carry things in

They're deep enough that my lavatube can't be seen, just falls in there. I don't actually take my wallet out with me if I ever need it, there's just no space for it because I hate putting things in my back pocket, so then and only then do I use a packpack, pretty much only to carry a wallet because everything else in my pockets I need to get to much more often. Reminds me of all the tight scotsman jokes I got when I went to australia

Yup! Almost as far north as you can go before they start speaking in another language I live in Aviemore, which is up there with Inverness in the highlands.

Yeah, know where it is We pass it often on the way to Keith if we go up the dreaded A9! We have a cottage booked there for a few days in Summer as although we often drive past we have never really visited. I want to go to the Highland Wildlife Park and up the mountains (on the railway, of course ) DS realy thought we were going to climb up, lol, although I may be able to now I've stopped the rollies

Ah you're coming to Aviemore? It's good to visit, a pain to live in lol I've not been to the wildlife park since I was like 5 so I don't even remember it. It's a bit out of the way for me. There's some stunning views up the Cairngorms. I've not been up there since I was 12 or so, so I really don't know what it's like now. You should stop into the Cairngorm hotel for a soup and sandwich lunch, really great place. Also, there's an absolutely fantastic little chinese place up at rothiemurcus (PH22 1QH in google maps). I used to work there and everyone raved about how great the food is. It's the only sit in chinese place unless you go to Inverness but it's stellar. Best salt and pepper ribs ever, it's like the blue lagoon chip shop in glasgow, famous for being good if you know about it

It's Hilton now but the lodges are still the same. I worked there for a good 6 years I could hear the shots from the clay shooting range when I did the 40 - 61 numbered lodges up the back. I've lived here my whole life so I'm really familliar with it There's more people familiar with this little village than I thought

I've been skiing at the Cairngorms when I was about 10 I'm more wondering what kind of job you do with all that stuff you have to carry. Kirby grips, never more than 1 meter from loo roll, a torch, some bin bags, a lava tube and aftershave .... hmmmm lol are you a really obsessive toilet attendant ?

hmmmm lol are you a really obsessive toilet attendant ? Pretty much I do the graveyard shift keeping the only supermarket clean and by night I'm the guy keeping the bank clean. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well A ton of keys for the bank obviously and a few for getting into the things at the store. I had the option to machine the floor or do the bathrooms. Since I like to vape and listen to music and not talk to people at 5 in the morning, I took the bathrooms When I went for the bank job it was hysterical. The woman was baffled I questioned their colour coding on cloths/buckets etc and said she's right because she's been a cleaner for 6 years. I just bit my tongue and didn't tell her I've been a cleaner since I was 11 (part time job I had for a long time one day a week, I didn't drop out of school ) which gives me 13 years experience well, 10 if you count the time I wasn't employed over the years.
