ah! thats great - your sorted, nice offer igual For future reference clairea Do what I do, get some ready made microcoils from fasttech (pull down the menu - in model box - to see what a massive selection they make) - they do all different ohms and I use them on most of my gear. Put an order in now and then you have loads ready for when needed. At 3 pence a pop its bargainous! I can twist wire, and sometimes I do ...and sometimes I dont! but at £2.50 for a pack of 50 its worth having them in

absolute godsend clairea and they are good quality. Obviously they take a while to arrive but its worth ordering a stock in and like you I use them in my single coil squonking drippers and for dual coiling my orchids and billow - saves loads of messing about I've got bags of them, loads and loads and tons --- and @spikeyfridge buys buckets of them too!

Just bought a load, hopefully will arrive sometime next month Good call! Saves so much faffing about! I, of course bought 1.8 ohm loose coil so now need 1.8 tight coil! Another 500 should complete my life ...

yes spikey.............we know where to come when theres a shortage = your shed! and another really good buy - ceramic tweezers, I dont know why I took so long to buy a pair! Instead of holding a coil in tweezers for ages whilst they cool and hold shape - you just fire mod, with ceramic blades holding in place and its an immediate coil meld. best £5 I spent in yonks

Can any of these nice thick wire ones be used in a Protank head? I have some of the very fine wire NR-R-NR ones but they are one-shot things as they just deform if you try to re-wick them.

If I wanted to use these for the subtank mini rba how do I know which ones to get! I have some of the ones from myepack and have done my first coil in the rba and to my amazement it works great! a bit fiddly to do but I tried to be patient and was really pleased with myself when it worked, sad isn't it!!
