Ive got a kraken genesis that ive wicked up but im finding it hard to get the right amount of cotton to be enough to absorb the juice up to the top so not to get dry burns so i was wondering if there was a rba thats not to complicated with a base coil setup rather then at the top of the rba thanks

tooly If your using a Kraken, mesh or wire rope is the way to go,a steep learning curve maybe, but a great piece of kit. However if you must use cotton then give the Orchid V4 a try. The only fault I have with it is that it is a thirsty buggar!!

Try more cotton rather than less and wet it with juice before you insert it in the coil. Have some extra wick coming out of the top of the coil and drape it over the leg that goes to the centre post and then hangs down a little.

Subtank mini. You can play with builds and when you get it wrong, just pop a normal coil in there. Also rebuild by the coils as backups is a doddle

Couldn't recommend the Lemo or Lemo drop enough. The deck is super easy to drop a single coil on and the thing is by far the most forgiving RBA i've used to wick. I've never once had a dry hit on either version or any leaking, you can open the airflow right up and get a good cloud chucking lung hit or close it down for mouth to lung style vape.
The Subtank Mini is another easy deck to build on but i have found it easier to over pack with cotton than the Lemo. It does have the advantage that you can access the deck and rewick without draining the tank though if it's not keeping up or it's getting flooded. The airflow can be closed down to only have half a hole for mouth to lung vaping but it's still noticeably more open than the Lemo.
The thing i like about both though is that you just have a flat deck that your cotton sits on you don't have to mess about with having a certain amount of cotton sitting in juice channels and wotnot.

The Kraken is my favourite atty to date, easy to set up and maintain.
I build my Kraken with a nine/ten wrap of.32 Kanthal over an SS mesh wick. When the coil gets a bit gunky I just pull the wick and dry burn the coil, pop the wick back in and it's good to go.
