Just bought a brand new actv4 atty tank from arry for £32.51 including p and p. now need a mod to get all the benefits of it. So what do you all suggest?
Doesnt have to be all shiny and have loads of buttons. in fact i`d like a manual without loads of wires that can go wrong.
I have a riva 1100 and it is great for dripping, but been warned off using a tank and dual core carto`s with it. Or do any of you think i`ll be ok?
I can go up to £40 at a push, but ideally £25. gf can have the riva or i`ll keep it as a spare.
am i right in thinking that 3.7 volts is powerful enough to run a dcc in a tank? just need pointing in the right direction guys, is all

The issue is not the voltage but the current through the switch. I have used DC cartos (1.5 ohm) fine on standard Riva's.

If not is the price above including charger or excluding. dont have the charger or batteries yet, was kinda hoping to get a whole kit for under £40, but everytime i look somewhere i go.... oooh, yes please and the price keeps increasing.... need to find something that presses all the buttons but doesnt cost the earth The issue is not the voltage but the current through the switch. I have used DC cartos (1.5 ohm) fine on standard Riva's. ive seen that before somewhere, but afraid of boogring the batteries. I know the tank will be here by wed/thurs and wont be able to resist trying it out though, so if all goes well and i havent bought anything, then who knows..

Okay from another thread I posted in: when I was searching for mods I came across it and thought considering what you get it seems great value - especially for someone moving upto a mod that hasn't got any of the necessary kit www.uk-eliquid.co.uk/collections/frontpage/products/bolt-modIt contains 1 x Bolt Body with switch mechanism 2 x ICR18500 1600mAh Batteries 1 x Puff Diddy Tank - Clear 1 x Puff Daddy Tank - Clear 2 x Drip Tips - Black 5 x Pre-Punched Cartomisers - 1.5ohm 1 x Trustfire TR001 Charger with EU Plug If you didn't want to get into buying stuff from abroad, you'd be looking at £25-£30+ for the tanks and cartos, about £15 for the batteries and charger so £65 for the whole kit seems a steal. And I think postage in UK is free as well - all you'd need to add (apart from juice) is a 2 pin adaptor probably £1 if you haven't already got one knocking about for charging your toothbrush / shaver etc. [/quote]

oops sorry - meant to modify that before posting but hit post instead of preview - there's also a 10% discount code for UK Eliquid of allaboute
So there's a starting point - lets see if we can find what you need for less than that.

Des, have you still got an e-power 14650 kit for sale at about £35 including batts and chargers. What's the mAh on those batts?
I wouldn't recommend the SDMkII as the batts on that are only 900mah so if it's a LR atty tank you might find the battery life a pain - I was only getting about half a day using a 1.5ohm puff diddy tank

You could try emailing uk-eliquid and see if they would put a special bolt kit together for you that is only the bolt body, charger and 2 x 18500 batteries including postage for £35? You never know they may do it and you wouldn't lose anything other than the few minutes to send an email.

Johanino gets the PAWS from there so she may be able to give more info on them. I've never used them and for me the risk of royal mail whacking extra charges on top for customs etc puts me off - I like to know how much I'm spending

Brian . . . I'm going to move your lovely thread and pop it onto the General Forum . . . as not everyone looks in the Classie's - temptation I think. It would be a shame not to have the pearls of everyone's wisdom . . . not that there's anything wrong with the pearls you've received so far of course.
