i agree i will be sticking too AWs but places ive read seem to say IMRs (orange) rather than the PCBs (black) but the IMRs dont seem to have higher MAh. one other thing i noticed yesterday was that this charger www.ledfiretorches.co.uk/ultrafire-wf139-charger-c-w-r123-spacers.html which i have recommends PCB batteries or does it mean recommended for PCB batteries. raggy........ It means that pcb battery's are recommended for use with that charger raggy. I've been using this little charger for a while now and it's doing a great job www.mojurepublic.com/products/Trustfire-TR003-3.7V-4-Channel-Multi-Charger.html But I do get through a few batteries in the course of the day, especially when I'm using 18350s Daz at safercigs does the 2000mah orange(safe chemistry) AW-IMRs mate, using them myself and they are great so far What are you using the batteries in?

IMRs are what's needed when using variable voltage devices raggy, protecting circuits will impede a high drain unit, AWs use a safe chemistry in their battery's to prevent the very thing that the protection circuits guard against, battery damage and explosions. Some protected battery's won't suffer the use of LR atties or cartos before the protection kicks in but the IMRs will take whatever is thrown at them. Do you need IMRs with their lower mah? or would a protected battery suit your needs better with a higher mah? If you don't intend to use the battery for very high drain items then an IMR may not be needed. personally, whatever battery I'm using will be removed and charged as soon as it requires it and I have many replacements to take its place whilst its charging so the lower mah is of no problem to me. And because my battery's will be used in vv mods as well as standard mods then IMRs is all I will buy now, and they don't come better than the AWs, imo

Sorry for the delay in replying, got roped in to going out for a bit Yes mate, I have a black AW pcb that I used to put in the don and I ran dual coils on it with no issues if that helps but I did find that it was a tad longer than the orange 2000mah by say 1.5-2mm and the orange 2000mah is about 1mm longer that the standard 1600mah. so all in all that's an extra 3mm
