I was wondering if there was a chat system of some sort, I've often wandered through here in the wee hours and thought it would be great to be able to just pop into a chat etc.. that would be awesome!.. |

I'm not so sure about this. The problem with chat is that unless you are glued
constantly to the stream, then you miss what has been said. Any useful nuggets
of info disappear for ever, and I think it will stop a lot of the fun threads which
can be nice to read after the fact.
(Plus I find the constant references to chat on VTTV really annoying when
watching them on replay).

Dom, those are the main reasons why I'm not too keen on adding a chat room. I've discussed it in the past with the forum moderators & none of them are keen on having one either.

I have used both for chatting. In my opinion, a thread is much better than a chat room, for the same reasons that Dom mentioned.
