Boo, my lavatube end cap has a hairline crack that's getting bigger by the day. It wont be long until it's completely broken. Is there anywhere to pick up a spare or anything compatable to use?

I would look in the nearest plumbing shop..They should have threaded end caps that might do the trick.. Something like this perhaps.. www.stockcap.com/prod_detail.asp?id=99&cat=12

When mine went I just took the plastic off and super glued together then superglued the cap back on to the base, that was weeks ago and its been fine since

I was supplied with a replacement end cap recently. I think it came under the warranty but it does mean that at least one supplier (ecigwizard) keep spares. I'd try emailing a toob supplier to see if you can come to an arrangement.

Are alot of these breaking then?
I'd prefer the end cap to be a problem, rather than something internal.
I've just had a look at mine, the whole internal structure of the cap is solid metal, so you can fix anything to it and it will work. You should just be able to superglue it all together as blakey says.

I wouldn't say breaking exactly Womble but the glue holding the plastic cap to the metal spring plate failed on mine. There are a few reports of glue failures at both ends of the toob.
Edit: Should mention that it appears to be limited to a only very small proportion of earlier models.

It ended up splitting in half so I superglued it back together To be fair, I have dropped it at least 100 times onto the end cap since I got it in December and this is February. I'm not exactly easy on my gear. I wont be massively upset if it breaks beyond repair. It isn't a lot of money for just the body and it's an excuse to buy more mods

My Lava tube is just firing, But still i don't know the reason of this. Its first time with me. I also also install the end caps but still i am facing this problem.. EDIT by Chrissie to say hello & goodbye to yet another spammer, who doesn't even know what a Lava tube is - it certainly didn't need the sort of machinery protection caps he linked to
