So - 21 days into Subtank use and two fairly dirty used heads sitting (they're well rinsed) on the vape desk. Should I pull out the wick, dry burn and re-wick, or just rip 'em apart and find my Kanthal + Cotton Wool stash?

I just pull the entire lot out and rebuild completely every time even when my own coils are in there.

OK, OK. Let me hide under a rock.
I just wanted to know if it was worth a dry burn.
2mm ID is the answer... I'll do it.

Well, I did it... and failed. Can't see for **** in these heads.. so better off sticking with Lemo/Kayfun/Orchid once I've run out of coils. ..which could be quite a while, as I got 25 from China and they last 10 days or so. See you all in 250 days on this thread. Just in time for *bleep*mas. or at Vapefest with a tin of used OCCs.

Doing the base and silicone bung was easy too. I think another attempt with some serious light is in order. The kitchen is a bit dark and my eyesight is shocking at close range.

Just managed to rewick a gunked up .5 one. Bit of gentle persuasion with a needle and tweezers, quick dry burn and some cotton chucked back through and it's spot on. Next step recoiling but that's for a later date.
