Des (our resident menthol connoisseur) gave some great advice about menthol juices. as for strawberry i have never actually tried it so i cant compare Grizwalds (vapeescape) strawberry ice cream is yummy

i have tried paradise vapes strawberry and strawberry menthol both are excellent ..i use the strawberry menthol all day..dekang strawberry is gross and i cannot stand too much of it but i now have menthol crystals which make the un vapeable - vapeable

And Des, I certainly will report back with my review, although I only have cigalikes to compare the riva to.

Thanks for the tips regarding strawberry... Is it normal for people to get different flavours from different places... because it looks like I'll be getting my RY4 from LF, Menthol from one of the ones Des listed and I am gonna have to try Paradise Vapes strawberry based on that review by Syycoe... so many different places for E-juice. ???

Hi Alvoram, I am just following down the path you have gone, a week behind, and like you gone for the Riva, only I couldn't get black they were out of stock, ah well gold will do. Well done, its great isn't it how easy it was swapping on to e-cigs I still cannot get over it.

It's because they're always doing diffrerent offers and stuff. Then you'll read (or watch) a review and think Hmmmmm that sounds nice and before you know it you're placing and order, thinking to yourself "it's only a couple of quid" and thinking I used to spend sooooo much on nasties, it can't be costing me any more, can it?

Prepareathome... It's shockingly easy, I used to smoke at least 20 a day, So did my partner, and stopping with the ecigs was as easy as switching a switch.

Des and Karma... between me and my partner we're definitely saving money, because apart from the device, we share consumabbles... such as cartos, e-liquid etc... we used to smoke at least 20 a day EACH which is a minimum of £91 a week I have no idea how we managed to afford that, but things are better now

I'm so pleased you got your OH to try this too! My one is being stubborn! My baccy spends never went over £15 a week but he's on ready rolled and apparently smokes 20 a day (closer to 30, me thinks!) So very expensive!

I just made one of those sigs to work out how much fags would have cost... now including my 2 new rivo kits ordered for tomoz (approx £62 the pair) my spends in that time have been

1 VIP starter kit (19.99)
2 extra batteries (19.98) (was given a free £5 extra usb charger nice...)
30 x VIP cartomisers prefilled (39.96) I know, expensive right? and I still have 9 full ones left.
E-liquids from LF (£25) Still have loads left.

So total spends, including the new RIVA's which haven't even arrived yet is £166.93

I've so far passed up on at least £310 worth of cigarettes

Making the total saving for just over 3 weeks £143.07... Nice saving, but best of all, I'm having a fantastic time doing it.

I've never saved money on vaping because my tobacco was nearly free Plus I've bought a lot of duff vaping gear but I think I'm sorted at last As you can see, it's taken long enough

Once you have your kit to vape to the same level as a 20 a day habit is about £12 a week (cartos and juice)

Thanks for the welcome and the glittery thingy. I am excited scyllabub, can't wait... Thankfully people like yourself and others on here are happy to help new people just starting out, and prevent them from buying duff gear, for that, I am very grateful.

And Des, that leaves plenty of room for lots of different 5ml sample flavours then. Actually that was another thing I wondered, my main vape is Menthol, I will try a few puffs on various other flavoured cartos I have on my desk throughout the day though, (gonna carve a neat little holder out of wood for them, but that's another story) with that in mind, how much per week of my main vape do you think I'll be using Shall I buy a 30ml or smaller/bigger each week? Up to now I've been using 5ml bottles, so I could try and find a menthol I like the best, but will buy bigger bottles once I have found the one.

Alvo, I'd get bored with vaping the same flavour day in day out. I know we smoked the same fags for X amount of years, but e cigs and fags are incomparable. You might be happy with vaping the same flavour, a lot of people have their 'all day vape', but don't rush into it as your taste buds play havoc with you for ages, especially when you're relatively new to vaping! Mine still do, I used to love caramel, now I hate it.
