I've been using BestCigLiquid concentrates for a while. Used their tobacco liquids for a while before that...
I really like Tobacco Nut (not listed anymore) and Sultan. Just tried Cohibia, definitely my new favourite. I make them up to 100ml, 65/35, 9mg - just check the whole 12ml in...works out to £3.99 for 100ml with Nic, PG, VG

My larger order arrived from Bestcigliquid today (just two days after ordering). One thing I liked is that every bottle in the package (from 12ml to 120ml) was individually shrink wrap sealed. I've personally never seen any other vendor do that before and it's a nice touch, so well done Bestcigliquid.
While today's delivery goes into the steeping cupboard, this morning I loaded up the Old Holborn tester I purchased last week. Blimey this is another good one and you immediately know it's Old Holborn you're vaping. I got this one more out of curiosity than anything else and wasn't expecting to like it enough to consider it as a regular vape, but it's a contender now for sure. Mild to strong, slightly sweet, slightly fruity, dark virginia tobacco leaf vape. Lovely stuff and unmistakably Old Holborn.
The quality of the Old Holborn juice only serves to make me more excited to try the other NET blends I got today. Turkish, RY444, Stirling and Maple Rum Tum. Maple Rum Tum looks so dark freshly bottled that I reckon it was spawned in the bowls of hell itself. They all smell absolutely amazing too - I really can't wait to try them next week after they've had a little steep time.

I'd luv some detailed info from BCL re. the 'NET' side of things... Don't get Me wrong, I'm not 'dis-ing' them....They were the 1st decent juices that I got when I 1st started vaping...but their juices don't taste like NET to Me!............. I do like Their stuff but there's a 'same-y' taste linking them; pertaining to maybe a commercial Tob. Abs. in there?.... There must be some real 'baccy in there tho'....they gunk My coils nearly as much as My Home-Brew NETs!!!

I can only compare those from BCL with NET's I've had from HOL and Redvape. To my taste buds they are the genuine article. At least those I have tried. I've yet to find a tobacco e-liquid not using NET that comes even close.

Definitely NET and the four I've tasted so far do share a similar underlying taste, but then they are all based on Virginia leaf, so they would I guess. I finished Old Holborn in short order, I can't believe how much I enjoyed that. I only have Philosifors Pipe left from last weeks batch and that smells so off compared to the others I may not bother with it. It smells pretty rank to be honest. Perhaps I'll leave it until Friday night and I've had a few beers

Think Perique but a few steps to the left.

This is prob. a taste-bud thing but the NET I make from steeping Red Virginia whole-leaf tastes nothing like the BCL stuff.... Anyway, the thread's inspired Me to knock up some BCL 'Old Holborn'! (@ 5%.. ) Actually, this thread is inspirational in itself.....I can't contribute to the 'Mum's spotted dick', 'lemon cake & syrup' et al threads!!!!

You're right yourgurnard I don't know anything for fact of course, it's just an assumption based on my tastebuds. The first BCL NET sample I tried was the Gold Virgins (re-labelled Virginia now I think) and I seem to get that same base tobacco leaf taste in Old Captain, Old Holborn and Captain Jack as well (along with their own unique additional flavours), but perhaps I am just mis-identifying it. It will be interesting to see if I get that same base taste from Sultan when I try it. Interesting to hear about your own NET experience. I've considered having a go myself, but I have already put so much of my spare time into vaping research this past 12 months, finding the right rebuildable kit, trying to master coiling and wicking, as well as learning juice DIY, I feel I need to sit back for a bit now and just enjoy what I have. To me, the Old Holborn is spot on. I don't know how he has achieved that, but he has. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I'll certainly be ordering more of it ASAP. And I agree about this thread being inspirational. If we can't have our own tobacco/NET section then perhaps we can just make this thread home and continue sharing our experiences here. I've barely touched my usual juices since the BCL samples arrived, which is a little worrying as I have nearly 3 litres of custards and deserts ready to vape or steeping. My love of custard will never die though ...will it!

I'll have to re-visit 'Sultan':- this was one of the 1st BCL juices I loaded into My brand-new pro-tank mini back then! Problem was; it tasted DISGUSTING & I tipped it! It was n't the juice...........I later realised that it was a scorching grommet in the Kanger head!! Doh!!! I got interested in BCL again, not that long ago, 'cos I wanted something to fill My Next-Gen/Taifun/RG400 tanks for out & about use (My NETs make tanks near enough un-useable 'cos of the constant need for coil/wick cleaning....) did n't realise there was proper 'baccy involved tho'!.... 'Old Holborn','Best Cigar', 'US Red', all have the same basic underlying taste (imho...) & I've still got some actual O/H 'baccy left from years of smoking (& a suitcase brought back from Bruges!!!..) which I steep. We need a 'mole' inside BCL to get the inside scoop on how He gets the concentrates so strong tho'!!

Well I sparked up Sultan this morning as it says 2 days steep on the website for the small bottles and it's been 5 already. Now this one is a strange taste I wasn't expecting at all. I've not tried Turkish tobacco before in any form so I have nothing to compare it too, but this juice has a powerful spice/incense taste and aroma and reminds me more of a posh aromatic tea blend rather than a tobacco. It's different and unlike anything I've tried before to be honest. Not sure it's a keeper for me, but it's not unpleasant either by any means. I certainly can't taste any trace in this one of the base "virginia" flavour I mentioned before. One thing is becoming clear, the BCL NET juices don't lack in flavour do they

I've tried a couple more of the BCL NETs and I'm a little disappointed to be honest after how good the first few were.
Maple Rum Tum: Tasted of only maple. Very very strong smokey maple and nothing else. I couldn't even detect any tobacco at all. I'll steep this for a month+ and try again.
RY444: Again, sadly I could only really taste one flavour in this one, vanilla. I think I could just detect the tobacco in the background but the vanilla was so overpowering I almost thought I was vaping vanilla concentrate. I'll also steep this for a month+ to see if it improves at all.
For me, so far the Old Captain and Old Holborn are in a class above the rest I've tried and the only two I'd buy more of.

You've probably picked the weakest 2 of BCL's offerings there with the Maple Rum Tum and RY444
I couldn't taste much in either of those.

Ahhh, thank you so much for your comments Kreed. After that disappointing batch I was debating whether to try any others or not, but you've decided it for me and I'll order samples of those you've mentioned when Old Holborn is back in stock and I can order more of that.
Have you tried Old Holborn at all and if so what did you make of it? It's spot on isn't it or are my tastebuds shot?
You're knowledge and opinion is always very much appreciated!
