Hiyas peeps I'm now in a position to finally get myself a new box mod, And have been eyeing up one of these. myepack.co.uk/mods/sigelei-50w-v2-box-mod.htmlWhat Im after is about 50w removable battery and sprung 510 and of course reliability as much as you can get with a Chinese mod. Any other owners of the above how do you rate it. Or can you reccomend something else. Cheers

If it was my only box mod and my ADV mod I'd go with the Vaourshark RDNA40 but I realise they are significantly more than the Sigelei.
I don't have a Sig but hopefully there'll be some along to advise on its reliability.

Yep have one first box mod i purchased too and i still use it regularly, rock solid construction, never had a single issue with the chip or anything fires all the time never had a problem with any atty on the 510, battery is easy to swap out with the magnetic door, fires coils down to 0.2ohm, all in all an excellent mod.
Only picky issue is you can't use it as a passthrough while charging via usb, well that's not strictly true it will still fire but the manual says not to use it as a passthrough. Not much of a problem given it takes seconds to chuck a fresh battery inside.

Absolutely love mine. Nice having a magnet door if you need a quick battery change and the threads are smooth and the sprung 510 is spot on. Also feels like a quality bit of kit with a nice weight to it and hasn't put a foot wrong since I've gotten it. There's obviously cheaper stuff available (fasttech zero mods look good) but I really like the sigelies. Use mine primarily with a subtank and they seem a perfect match.

My sig 100w was perfectly ok for about 4 months then it started picking up little niggles, resistance reading started fluctuating being the main one Tore it apart and the problem is in the adjustable 510, poor soldering job on the positive wire was the culprit. Coupled with a poorly fitting adjustment screw made it a pain in the neck to use. Not a problem that I've read much about so may not be wide spread but worth giving you the heads up. The samsung 25r is a very good battery for it in answer to your last question

Won't be a problem on this one blakey as it's the updated 50w v2 version with the sprung 510

Won't be a problem on this one blakey as it's the updated 50w v2 version with the sprung 510 Only solves the screw but not the soldering But like I said, it doesn't seem to be widespread so maybe mine was a friday night mod

Could well have been. There'll always be one or two out of a huge batch which may develop a problem no matter what brand you get or how much you spend. Trust you to end up with a wonky one though. then again it looks like you were lucky enough to get the only working smok in the universe so it all evens out
